Wagner troops, tanks seen in Russia's Rostov-on-Don of which Prigozhin claims military HQ controlled

Wagner mercenaries were posted in a street in Rostov-on-Don on Saturday (June 24) as the rebellious Russian mercenary boss Yevgeny Prigozhin demanded that Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and Russia's top general Valery Gerasimov come to meet him the southern City.
Prigozhin said in one video posted on social media by his own press service that he was now at the headquarters of the Southern Military District, which is in Rostov-on-Don.
"We have arrived here, we want to receive the chief of the general staff and Shoigu," Prigozhin said on the video. "Unless they come, we'll be here, we'll blockade the city of Rostov and head for Moscow."
A handful of mercenary fighters were seen guarding and deploying in on of Rostov-on-Don's street, including a small tank and military vehicles.

so far from what I read/seen here online: Wagnar leader had previously complained his boys weren't being fed or given rations, then he ranted they weren't given more ammo or restock the equipment, then he said they were not getting paid, and last straw seems once they took and secured position in an area the Russian army bombed them. So his treason was to turn to the highest bidder and headed to next paid job.

Yes, I think so. The events of today will be a turning point in Russian history and we from the outside can only watch from the sidelines without being capable of understanding all the implications. Only time will tell

Ofcourse. You would be foolish not to capitalize on showing you are the major force in this war. The question is, if the Russian people have he same opinion. Prigozhin is popular in Russia for achieving some successes on the battlefield, but in general, people are too much afraid of the fascist mafia government, and they fear that if they want to survive, they cannot show support for Prigozhin. The only way for Prigozhin to move forward now, is to totally destabilize the Russian army and get the majority of it on his side. The problem is that Putin supports the corruption, the oligarchs, the ministers,... He is the mafia boss after all. Putin doesn't want to improve the Russian army, as the army is full of corruption, and improving it would imply he has to reduce corruption, and thus fire his ministers. He won't do that, because if he doesn't get the support of his ministers, he has to fear for his own life. The fish rots from the top.
