Luke Vibert is the best sampler in history. His ability to sample is off the chain. Shadows, is a masterpiece. I've played that to people and they cannot conceive of what he's done. Music creates a lot of emotions. Rock, classical, folk etc. It can make you happy or sad. Luke's music is the only electronic music I've heard that's brought a lump to my throat. It ticks a box deeper than the surface

I remember first listening to this brilliant record at my buddy’s place in Camden town late 2000’s . He had very good taste in electronic music and always blasted Luke Vibert, Squarepusher, Orbital , Aphex and so forth. Love ya , Tommy .

The video suits the music perfectly, I love it. I am taken back to my first year or Uni when I hear this track, very specifically walking to a lecture one morning listening to this and having a vivid realisation that I am actually at Uni (having joined at very short notice).

One of my all time fave Luke Vibert tunes And the video too Speaking of which from a scifi and anime fan viewpoint my take on it is that it's set in the future on another Earth type planet somewhere in the galaxy that our descendants colonised On this particular Earth the colonists opted for a Victorian era lifestyle although I would suspect that they still make use of the advanced technology available to them including space travel The giant robots may be left over from the previous civilisation which was destroyed in a cataclysmic war Just a theory though Whatever the reason for the concept for the video I love it anyway A bonfide classic for sure! 😎👍
