Wahoo Bike Shift started making some noise after 379km (according to Wahoo app and lifetime odometer). You can clearly hear some rubbing with every full pedal stroke.
Update: My unit has been already replaced 3 times within a month! Now (13 feb 2024) I am waiting for 4rd unit... Can't recommend Wahoo anymore This product is underdevelopment still!
Update 24/02: 4th unit received - and it is still far from being silent. Again some kind of rubbing / unbalanced wheel noise.

Even without the failure it still generates more noise than I was led to believe

True. I received 4th unit and it is still far from being „silent” some rubbing noise is still there… less annoying but it is present. Sounds like belt rubbing or flywheel… plus there are other quality issues, one of the unit I had before also had frame misalignment , handlebar issue (I couldn’t easily assembly it and adjust - had to put a lot of force to mount it scratching it…) I also saw some other reports about crank issue and loosing bolts…. I would strongly avoid this product… waist of time and money

I just received a replacement too. Its also making a weird sound. first one had a cracking sound from the crank.will give this one some time, or else claim my money back, and get a Tacx instead.

I unfortunately have the exact same issue. I'm on my third unit with each getting progressively worse. I wish I'd kept my first unit as that was at least fine to ride. The current one has a much worse friction noise and when peddling it feels like cogs rather than a round rotation. It's awful considering the price paid this current one is almost unrideable

On the recording above it was my first unit… then I received second one with another kind of noise… now I have just received 3rd unit and again it is making scraping noise… now I am waiting again for wahoo and their statement. Don’t wait, report to wahoo if you experience any issues. We are beta testers of this **** . Check my other videos with the noise from 2nd and 3rd unit I received as warranty replacement… it is a joke

I do hear that taping noise but its hard to hear what it really sounds like ... Shame maybe they are not delivering it properly ? Heard it cannot be on its side when delivered or something . Anyway a lot of money to be not silent . Did you ever get it resolved ?

No men, I already had 3 replacements. Now I am waiting for 4 unit to arrive… every unit was making different kind out of 3 units I had. This one now I would say was the least annoying. Other units were much worse during ride… you can check my other videos and shorts. About the storage - I am not sure. First was shipped on wood pallet, other just in the box but always in straight position, not on the side.

No men… i had it replaced 3 times already and now waiting for 4th unit to be shipped… it is a joke and Wahoo shittt quality. Avoid it if you can. In past I had similar issues with KICKR V5 (known issues of bearing/flywheel noise)

But I took a risk and now really regret it that I had not choose Tacx instead… if 4th unit will be bad also then I will fight for money return
