This is already my 2nd Wahoo Shift bike I received after warranty claim.
Problems with flywheel noise right straigh out of the box. This time it is even louder and more annoying than the previous unit I had, which was replaced.
Update: My unit has been already replaced 3 times within a month! Now (13 feb 2024) I am waiting for 4rd unit... Can't recommend Wahoo anymore This product is underdevelopment still!

I've had the same type of problem with Wahoo Kickr Core. Ended-up swapping 3x trainers under warranty. Having said that, I used it heavily for interval work, and perhaps the bearings might have overheated. I used it 6days/week almost all year around. It would work fine for the first month or two, and then progressively get worse over time like you're describing here. It seems to hold a bit longer with the through-axle bike and be much worse with the quick-release bikes. Painful to see the same problem on the kickr bike as well

Hey! I also have this noice straight out of the box. Did you buy your KICKR from wahoo directly, or from a reseller? How did you claim a replacement?

Hi! I got it from my LBS then I was reporting warranty claim directly to Wahoo through their support and each time they offered replacement bike. They were passing information to Wahoo distributor in Poland and then distributor were handling the whole replacement process (I had to send back unit to them and then they were sending me a new unit) so Wahoo was only deciding on the solution and passing the further details to distributor... But now I have just requested full refund and got my money back. It was enough... 4 bikes and each one had issues

It has been replaced already 4 times and each unit had same issues…. Processing return and full refund now. I have enough

I would advice to look for another trainer… and I am not alone, you can find many similar reports on the web (e.g check comments under dcrainmaker review)
