Excellent video! This will be my first time visiting Waikiki with my 4-year-old, which makes me very nervous as a single parent but your recommendations made things easier.

You will have a wonderful time! Waikiki always feels safe to us. There are homeless near the beach but they are just catching some rays, in our experience. Have fun and see our other things to do on Oahu videos in our Oahu playlist.

Call them but many hotels don't offer day passes or stopped during covid.

Hi, do the tours like snorkeling at turtle canyon, being with dolphins and turtles boat rides, hiking and island tours.. Do they go ahead all year around or just the summer months? X

Try Drive Hui if you need a car for the day, it is a car share. Ask the hotel about letting in guests for the day as they all have different rules with COVID now.

How shallow is the water in the lagoon? I am not a great swimmer lol would I be able to stand on my feet?

you can walk around for most of it but out in the middle the depth is probably 8 to 10 feet.

Next to HHV is the Ala Wai Boat Harbor, it is the cheapest place to park your car overnight.

Use Uber's fare estimator. Taxis cost more but we have hardly ever used a taxi as lived there or rented or walked. Have a great solo trip!

We live on Maui so no test for us to go to Oahu. We got tested to go back to Maui but not at the airport. No testing available at HNL.
