Part 2 of my 12 day Coast to Coast walk that I did in August 2020 camping every night.
Showing features and places on the route and where I camped each night. Ideal to follow if you are planning to do it yourself, or just sit back, and enjoy the scenery as I walk through some of the most spectacular and beautiful countryside in England.

Thank you for the 2 videos that documented your walk. I set off with an organised group in a little over two weeks, taking 14 days to cross over. Hoping for good (but not stupidly hot) weather.

Just come across these videos - really helpful for the route but also beautifully put together. The Wainwright quotes are perfect, especially the final one.

Thanks for making this. Nice change not to have a talking head too! Your shot making and info shared was on point too. Loved how you walked it 'the wrong way' - I shall do same! Wondered how your feet got, on as they must have been wet for many many hard miles. cheers from NZ.

Thanks for watching,. Actually Wainwright recommends West to East, he says that's because most of the weather comes from the West so it's at your back. I don't mind wet feet in the summer, wear a light pair of trail running shoes and they dry out very quickly 🙂. Although I do carry a pair of seal skin socks in case it gets too bad.

Hi Vincent, the tent is a Nordisk Telemark 1. I have been using it for a few years now and it has got me through the Coast to Coast, Pennine Way, Cape Wrath trail and others. It weighs less than 900 grams, is very compact in the bag, and although quite small, I am 6'2'' and there is room for me and my gear inside. What I most like about it, unlike other lightweight tents, it stands up to bad weather and strong winds very well. If you like a bit more room they do a Telemark 2 which is only a little heavier.

Hi Tina, it's not easy but I have done lots of this stuff ☺. There are many ways to walk the Coast to Coast, some are easier than others. Do your research and do some training and I am sure you can achieve it 👍
