FYI, as far as I know, a lot of Rens one take videos are Guerrilla filmmaking. He recently stated that he's yet to spend more than £1000/$1500 on a shoot. That's about to change with the upcoming shoot for Money Game 3 though. Great reaction, the look on your face at the end of Violets Tale was absolutely priceless.

The street where they film it are not closed and are in Brighton. Somebody shout at him to be quiet. Also other life/one takes he do without permission or closed area for filming. So get kicked out of carpark garage and Supermarket or the Restaurant where they startet filming get closed when they come back for the next try, so they have to wait some hours, or he nearly get hit by a car. Or at Hi Ren, they filmed in the basment of a rental house, the landlord showed up 4 o'clock in the morning and asked him to stop filming because some tenants were complaining.

IMO this video speaks about the revolving door of violence. Violet being abused by her father and then her BF. Jenny and Screetch most likely going into an orphanage or foster care. My conspiracy theory is Jenny was a hooker. It's so heartbreaking that these stories are based in reality.

just to go back to jenny, a 14 year old girl walking the streets in high heel shoes, streets that she has walked a 1000 times before, yep jenny was teenage hooker. screeches girl friend was "busy" with patrick if you know what i mean. the story of jenny was taken from a newspaper article, then ren's brilliantly twisted mind came up with screech, and voilet was added to complete the circle. ren describes this kinda stlye as "bard-core" quite fitting really. great reaction.

This was shot live in one take (as was "Hi Ren"). You'll notice the lapel mic on his jacket. Also, just wanted to point out something many miss. Jenny is really young. He mentions that she and Screech are 14 but he references that she was going home late at night, wearing heels. It was a "walk she had walked a thousand times before". He is implying that she is a prostitite.

Seriously. Someone make that compilation. It would be a decent-length video. And then someone should present it to Sam. Make it a "KZfaq Reactors' Choice" award for Excellence in Camera Work or something. Edit: man, you were LOCKED IN through all three videos, you could see how *captivated* you were, and soaking up every detail of the lyrics. Awesome reaction my brother! I'm Ren's livestream the other day on Twitch when his new song "suicide" premiered he went live like he always does and hangs out and talks with everyone. He's still on Canada getting treatment for him lime disease but Sam was there with him, he's the camera guy for all of Ren's videos except the animated videos and "Animal Flow" You can see Sam in Ren's video for his dope rap song "Power" BUT they were both telling everyone they have script written and the concept down for five or more other video's in the vein of "The Tales of Jenny and Screech" AND they're pitching them to Netflix! How dope would that be? A live action movie/music video with different episodes. He said eventually he would love to involve other artists who are up and coming or already established. I'd tune in so fast! This is what music and movies/TV has been missing. They also were talking about this video series and they said when it chained to the day that they were going to film Violet scale they went to set up before rain got there and ren had purchased the bed hospital bed they were in and he didn't realized it was for a child it was about a foot off the ground so they had to go find a bunch of pallets and stuff to put the bed on top of so it would work haha

I only have one criticism. When you decide to do "creative" edits (the gun shots in Screech's tale) it interrupts the intended flow the original artist had in mind. I don't think Ren would be upset, but I'm pretty sure he would be scratching his head wondering why. I thought everything else about the reaction was great.
