what shocked me the most about her story is that it wasn't even her using her phone while driving but someone completely foreign to her who happened to change her life in such a drastic way! All the strength and best for her ❤️

I don’t even text when I’m in the passenger seat or the backseat. I turn my phone off and throw it in the backseat because I don’t want to accidentally ring and distract me. I turn the radio off and I turn the AC off and I put all the windows all the way up because I don’t want any noise to distract me. Not even the AC noise.

All my life I have always nagged people about not texting and driving. Literally even if the driver looks down bc they hear a notification, I am like stop. This video just proves my point even more. Don't fucking text and drive. I am balling my eyes out. I feel so incredibly bad for that woman. Her parents are gone, forever. Idk man this just really hit me hard.

Please when you're driving put your phone on airplane mode and in the BACK SEAT! It may seem silly and a hassle, but your lives are so much more than that text or that phone call. When you're driving not only your lives are at risk, but other lives too! Be safe 💕

The girl who said if you like someone you can't wait I mean yeah you can wait and then when you get to the place you need to be without looking at your phone you just tell them hey, I was driving or whatever but if they get mad about it it's not worth! even the other things, changing a song what ever, make a playlist before hand of songs YOU LIKE/radio station, before moving the car, it's in the driveway, get to the radio station or whatever then start driving and leave the device alone, throw it in the back seat, put it in the trunk, put it in your purse and then put your purse in the backseat, put it in the glove box, lock it, do what you need to to to not be distracted. Same with the gps screens in your car, set your destination if going somewhere new have the car parked in the driveway, set the destination then go, don't bother looking at the screen because the gps is going to tell you. and if you have music loud, turn it down because that can also distract you have it at an appropriate volume.

I've shared this with my family. It is so difficult to get people to understand that texting and driving is a dangerous and selfish act. It doesn't matter how well you can "handle a vehicle." Distraction befalls anyone, no matter how skilled.

I watched this video a couple of months or a year ago, today Jacy Good and her husband were at my school, only thirty minutes through when Jacy showed the video did I recognize her. Her story absolutely broke my heart the first time I heard it, the second time, today in person, I heard every detail and event and it broke my heart once over again. Thank you for sharing your story Jacy, I am so incredibly glad you survived and fought for your life.

this was way better than the crash simulation last season! I think people react more to emotions and to see some of our favorite people reacting to such an emotional story makes it way more relatable and it gives off a better and bigger impact. I pray everyday that my husband will change his attitude towards texting and driving. I’m always scared being a passenger in his car. He is always on the phone. No matter how many times we have spoken, argued or I even threatened him. He just does not stop and I really do not want to be part of his long awaiting lesson.
