Just want to say there is a reason people dont. You dont know what capabilities a disabled person has, if they have altered states because of their disability and therefore a violence risk. If someone is that disabled that they need someone to feed them, they should have a carer with them to do that. I know the healthcare stuff sucks in america, but there is a reason as a general citizen to not just step in. In my country he would have a budget for a carer for community access

He decided to work at denny's. Not my choice nor is it my job to judge why he is there. What do you do for a living so someone can judge you? I do it so he doesn't get the food all over himself or choke. And not just because he's my dad, but because it's probably frusterating wanting to eat and you can't. I judge people by character and not based just on appearance because The guy you trust to enter your house because you’re comfortable with his appearance is the guy that might kill you or rob you.

Nah humanity isn't going to hell, Don't generalize everyone just because of your experience. People around the world do all kinds of things for each other and don't want the recognition or applauds. I've bought homeless people meals a lot and I don't even think twice about it, I just do it. I can remember a year or so ago, I bought this man a meal, who was just sitting inside the restaurant, maybe from exhaustion and he just busted out crying like a baby, said he had been praying that he'd get some food today. Everyone in the restaurant seemed embarrassed they didnt do anything, It was just an automatic reflex for me....

People say having good parents is what creates people like him and while I’m sure it does at times, But a lot of it has to do with the person themselves! I’ve seen many people who haven’t had the best upbringing but still continue to be amazing people. So honestly jus mad respect to this dude, he is truly a caring soul !
