Just want to say there is a reason people dont. You dont know what capabilities a disabled person has, if they have altered states because of their disability and therefore a violence risk. If someone is that disabled that they need someone to feed them, they should have a carer with them to do that. I know the healthcare stuff sucks in america, but there is a reason as a general citizen to not just step in. In my country he would have a budget for a carer for community access

Dude was working at IHOP for years I doubt he was raised in a wholesome family only way to land these jobs and staying there is maybe being in and out of jail to the point you didn't develop any skills so he had no choice he probably wasn't raised right but he sure learned to be a humble person along the way

He decided to work at denny's. Not my choice nor is it my job to judge why he is there. What do you do for a living so someone can judge you? The people and their narrow thinking is why this world is what it is. You cant work at denny's and be humble unless you've went to prison but we all know why he went to prison. We were there, got his arrest record on file.

Although this is generally the case, I know a few people who had horrible parents, and instead of following their footsteps, they did the opposite, and came to be some of the people I like and respect the most. I would add especially in Americans who historically have been the most generous people on earth and until recently majority were white. I don't think anybody can put up with how corrupt doctors are (i. e., let patients allowed to die on the operating table because of not enough insurance; denying patients full and proper medical treatment because of their race; stealing money from insurance companies). He could maintain his integrity doing something else and make money.

It really is. I have to feed my dad because of his medical issues and sometimes people are like "thats so nice of you" ...I don't do it to be nice. I do it so he doesn't get the food all over himself or choke. And not just because he's my dad, but because it's probably frusterating wanting to eat and you can't. If I were in that situation I'd want someone to help me.

Nah humanity isn't going to hell, Don't generalize everyone just because of your experience. People around the world do all kinds of things for each other and don't want the recognition or applauds. I've bought homeless people meals a lot and I don't even think twice about it, I just do it. I can remember a year or so ago, I bought this man a meal, who was just sitting inside the restaurant, maybe from exhaustion and he just busted out crying like a baby, said he had been praying that he'd get some food today. Everyone in the restaurant seemed embarrassed they didnt do anything, It was just an automatic reflex for me....

People say having good parents is what creates people like him and while I’m sure it does at times, But a lot of it has to do with the person themselves!
