A teenage girl has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two teachers and a pupil were stabbed at a school at Amman Valley School in Carmarthenshire, Wales.

If so bullying is another big problem but it does not permit carrying a knife around that will not help your problem the bullying has to be sorted

I remember working in a school shortly after the Manchester Arena attacks when the security of the country was in high alert and despite it being quite an ordinary primary school, we did a whole meeting going over the lockdown procedure. It is useful to know.

All schools have this now. My kids school was put into lock down because some drug dealer was arrested by armed police up the road from the school the other day

Remember when the school locksdown, they're not you're children until the authorities deem it otherwise, home schooling sounds appealing more & more. Stop the indoctrination and start teaching your children.

Why would a pupil arrive at school armed with a knife. Whatever happened to children being taught how to be civilised towards each other. Children of school age need to be taught good manners and how to take responsibility for their behaviour. I hope the poor girl who lost control will be able to get help with her problems and taught how to take responsibility. Actions have consequences, better learned before a tragedy. Teachers might need a lesson or two on the same subject.

Yes it is a very bad case but who are you holding responsible schools have no power to chastise pupils and parents seem to blame anyone but themselves after all discipline begins early in life with the parents Hope that the injured are all ok

Not something, it was anything. Might not have been a person, or caused as such. It might have been real, like Schroedinger's cat, or not. It's very subjunctive. Also, be careful you don't thing about in more than a passing way. It's like a option . Purely probabilistic.

Learn to fight back or at the very least defend yourself. Stop walking around in an artificial, vulnerable bubble thinking you will always be safe. The world and society are not structured that way, entirely. General message for all who have been victims of cowardly attacks. You, are the only person that will ever be there for you, all the time. Why should the family be held responsible ? So what if this girl was bullied and just finally lost it? Yea, it's wrong in what she did, but that school is notorious for bullying with teachers often doing nothing about it . I know many parents who have taken their children out of that school because of all the bullying that goes on there .

I met a speculation in my quite village pub and he went on to cut someone`s head off. The only speculation that lived in a quite English village. No one else in history from our village has done that.

There is to many fighting games that children can buy it’s bound to effect their minds .not so long ago children were playing in the streets or out on there bicycles and friends not staying indoors playing violent games. Why is it not stoped too much money invested in it
