"Girls" is a great comeback! They lost a bit of their experimental side but traded that for a much more accessible song without losing too much edginess. Easier to digest for the general public... but I think that's exactly the way to move forward, especially after the newfound interest in aespa abroad through their US promotions. My favorite track on their new album has to be "Illusion" though... such a glorious track, full of innovative vocal doubling and verse (dis-)harmonies - I love it, it's a really hypnotizing song! (Great choreo too, -probably- their best so far!) 🖤

Yeah, I was shocked they didn't have a whole different song in the middle- But It's easier to navigate for newer listeners.

Girls is still sort of on the experimental side just not as much as their previous title tracks, but I agree SM made this song much more accessible for their newer listeners on the US

Love this Era of theirs especially the electric guitar, the dance break sounds similar to EXO'S mama, NCT 127 kick it, and SuperM Jopping.

This is the Best EVER 2 Date K-POP song I've EVER HEARD! ... (EVER) & WINTER Haz me in a COMA!! The song is an UNMISTAKABLE ÆSPA Track ~ It's a mash-up & That to any ÆSPA Fan makes it an instant LIKE ... The Clothing is out of the world ~ the looks of each member are breathtaking ~ Bop is strong but not over repetitive to a bore (Changing direction) Vocalization like nothing I'd ever ever heard (Winter Is breaking the glass in my ear) Electronic background of the track with many many-layered sound effects - AT 3:00 to 3;30 It's almost NU-Industrial Heavy Metal ~ WOW I BOW DOWN & give it a 9.5 For genius ingenuity & delivery & az a MAN The Looks of the girls pushes me up to a strong 10! The Only other 10 in K-pop is ITZY'S "MAFIA" & a Strong contender might be EVERGLOW's "Pirate" I'm more hard-pressed to say it sounds like another or like every other fluffy too girly Disney-rated K-Pop but rather it's a "Next level" for a K-pop 4th generation reinvention that's instantly & ONLY --- ÆSPA! 😎

FYI : Hero in aespa is Naevis Villain name is Black mamba, btw Naevis make from Indonesia, you can see in the black mamba scene that is dancing, it is a traditional Indonesian dance, black mamba and naevis are characters created by Indonesia, because the four aespa members like Indonesian traditions

Overall i like the song but its not my favourite. I dont like what they do With winter's vocals I dont know if it Has weird mix or something but it sounds actually weird sometimes. Also i think that they do too much unnecessery high notes it sounds almost like screaming xd
