She was trained by Ms. Lea Salonga in the voice kids Philippines

Esang chose Lea Salonga as her coach in The Voice Kids. She has since played little Cosette in a touring company of Les Mis in Manila and Singapore. Lea and her mom personally introduced her to Cameron Mackintosh. She played Matilda in a Philippine production of that musical. She is now 12 years old and is widely considered as the successor of Lea Salonga in the field of musical theater.

I believe her Dad was her first teacher or encourager because he liked to sing too (not professionally). Esang has actually done theatre after her success in The Voice Kids. Although she didn't win, her talent is undeniable. Leah Salonga was her coach in that competition. She participated in Your Face Sounds Familiar in the same season as TNT Boys. Honestly, I think she's a Benjamin Button in wishbus LOL.

This is why filipinos are great singers, because they start singing at a very young age while the vocal chords are still developing

I hope you don't renounce being a singer and I hope you don't get demotivated, you guys are amazing, I believe you guys are often flabbergasted and blown away when seeing such talents from someone so young, and its not just because of talent or God given gifts, its also because of the environment and culture, in which we practice singing everyday, from spending time with friends, or having a friendly competition at school, and also the culture itself where singing is enjoyed by everyone. Heck, we even sing songs or create songs to court a person, sing songs to celebrate birthdays or occasions, we sing songs for our dearly departed, we sing songs to even just dissed on someone we don't like, we have songs to make jokes of times too. Even if a person is tone deaf we support and try to help each other become better, that is why our culture naturally nurtures singers.

Esang made her public debut via her audition in The Voice Kids Phils where she sang "Home." Lea. Salonga, her eventual coach, was still out of the picture at that time, and the little slayed it girl like a pro, turning all the 4 judges to her favor. She now sings mostly broadway songs.

Those two kids, Esang and Sasa were both on the Voice Kids Philippines 2015 that you guys reacted in a two part series couple of weeks ago. Esang sang the song " Home " and when Lea Solango turned around she pointed at her and yelled You're Mine! She is now in musical and trained by Lea Solanga. Her dad is part of a band way back and he trained Esang. After the Voice kids PH, Leah and her mom(Leah's Mom) trained her. Speak English with British sounds. Sings like a theater actor. She's now a theater performer with leading Role.

In the Philippines you can find many kids that songs as good as this once they are coached already by the professional but if their mother is a singer she can grow up singing profeciently and at the young age they are as good as the big ones. She actually played Little Cosette in LesMiz which is shown here and in Singapore just after her competition in The Voice. After that she got her first lead role as Matilda that shown here in Ph. And Lea Salonga is all the way supporting her even up till now.
