trust me the watch market is only market where they overcharge crazy. i have a supplier that does 1on1 and superclone just like them and 1on1 i can get it for $70-80 with everything included and sometimes i can sell watches for $180 and etc

I’m sorry but I disagree with talking down the cost on these items to what you did, these people are already struggling to survive and you come to a country with such a low annual income and then ask them to discount stuff even more. I just think that’s wrong. It’s unfortunate as you were likely raised in a,western country with opportunities and wealth that these folks never had access to. Just pay what they are asking and feel good about yourself for contributing to the GDP and not about the fact that you talked them down.

@@_paypar.out223 I do understand that it is a culture of negotiations but after being to Thailand twice and other countries in SE Asia. I always feel like I could do a little more on my end which would and does make a big impact on that end. As a world traveler I feel the least I can do is help to offset the balance of things, tip really well, pay what they are asking , respect the culture and religion and leave the place a little better off. I am not wealthy but I do know that I was born into a country with a very privileged life. If I as a global citizen can do more to help others all the way across the world I will. $50 to me is not a big deal. $50 to someone in Thailand is food for a month. That’s all. Peace, love and respect.

@@nooknook323232 you are clearly missing my point. Nobody puts a gun to your head to go to Thailand to by said property and if people stoped buying they would stop making. My point is these people , anyone from this area not just the watch shop struggle and can use all the help they can get . So if you can pay full price or close to what they are asking and not come back with a haircut of an offer, you should do it. Same crap as selling on Craigslist or Poshmark everyone wants to give you nothing for your stuff. You do you, I will do me. I can feel good about not always trying to get the better of people. And if I want a Rolex or LV bag, I will work hard , save me go buy the real thing.
