Mike you would have to learn to dig deeper around here. Frost line is normally around four foot. I usually go 5-6 foot if I really want to be sure. A few years ago the water line under my drive froze at eight foot. That was not fun. Like the way you do your jobs. Usually neat/finished look to them. There are some pretty rough looking footers and such around here. The favorite comment seems to be that it will never been seen again so who cares. It bugs me because "I" know it is not right. LOL (Just my personal OCD issue)

Great job. We do several things differently, it wont change the quality but would increase production if interested. We do use a telebelt to place rock and concrete. Rock first then concrete. If interested let me know I can let ya know the different things we do. Great job looking forward to next video.

@@DirtPerfectfor 2 guys you done very well and agreed that a telebelt probably wouldn't be a good financial choice. It helps us alot being able to place rock first then we can do footings. Rental for us isnt bad and it saves us time. Enjoyed your video, like to see how others do things. I always learn something, this time I learned I wouldn't like to work in areas with alot of rock lol. Look forward to seeing your video on the walls.

I love the concept of the form-a-drain. Guaranteed that your drain has no low or high spots to prevent proper drainage. How do you normally connect the outer drain with the drain sump? Is there some sort of connector installed when the form-a-drain doesn’t wrap around like this one did at the walk out?

Now , it that’s not a perfect example of all things being Ekul”.... I’ll eat your hat! I have a question on that system since I'm not familiar with it. When the part that is in the form system meets up with what you called the frost footer, do they not have to be tied together somehow? Where I am, when there is a difference in height in two sections of footer (a step up or step down) we have to let the two sections overlap. If you step up 8 inches then the upper section must overlap the lower section also by 8 inches. We're also limited to a 24 inch step.
@gregneves8000

why do you noy put the drain tile across the frost footer, we have to here, as well out frost footer for a walk out must be down 4 feet minimum, with drain tile, drain tile also must cgis cross the floor and tie into the sump hole and tubes though thhe footings to tie in the floor drain tie witch is all back filed with 3/4 washed stone, 6" over the tile, trenchs are dug in the sub grade to house the drain tile, and it allmust emty into a sump hole witch is normaly under a stair case, then pumped out to the back yard or road, the tile cant go out into the open due to freeze up, it also cant dump into sewer or septic, using a pump allows the drian line to go dry between sump fills so it dont freeze up, i hope this job was done mid summer, not just this week if it is that hot, we been well below freezing for some time now
