I've been going to playa del inglis for over 25 years I've walked around the yumbo pretty drunk and I can say I've not had any problems it's a very safe place to go. I plan on going back next January. Excellent video guys it's been 3 years since I was there the yumbo is a trip down memory Lane 😂

Lifts do not work very often

Iv never had any problems at the yumbo center

Of course it's safe. Your going get pick pockets in any country but iv never felt unsafe at yumbo center they have local security an police walking round .

Strange you mention there are three main centers in Playa del Ingles. What about Aguila Roja (Red Eagle) better known as the Irish Center and Anexo Dos which runs parallel to the beach from the large square where the big silver Maspalomas letters are. Both of these are very lively. There's also Gran Chapparal (Kims Bar, Als bar, The Brittania etc and also the main area for Dutch bars). Also Jardin Del Sol and La Sandia centers, both with bars and restaurants. There are no doubt some smaller ones I missed too.

Oh there is I forgot Tropical, which has bars, restaurants and at least one nightclub 🤭

You make a good point, there are loads of smaller shopping centres to visit from what I saw in early March they weren’t too busy… we only stay for 4 nights so perhaps didn’t see them at there busiest and no doubt there are more. Yumbo and Cita are perhaps the most well known. Depends where you’re staying for the tropical centre as there may be others closer unless you’re staying that end.

@@outandaboutwithash Yeah that is what tends to happen, Plays del Ingles is quite spread out and many people stay within a mile of their hotel. So you can come here on another occasion, stay in a different area, and feel like you are on holiday somewhere else. The largest centre is Yumbo, Anexo Dos is probably about the same size as Cita just a different shape, and The Irish Center (Aguila Roja) is bigger and busier than Kasbah. Nice Yumbo video by the way, Liked and subbed 🙂 If you are over here again anytime feel free to get in touch, we could make a collab video or just chill out with a beer. We've lived here getting on for 7 years now so know the place pretty well.

First trip there last September 2023 and never felt so safe when walking from one place to another during my night time adventures. This would never have been the same in Brussels, Paris or other cities... For sure this is a major gay destination but you everyone lives his life there in a form of mutual respect. And the police is present. They know that tourists are the cash flow of the island.
