Livestreaming from within the palace grounds isn't so good because of weak signal so we're going to walk the entire perimeter of the moat instead! This is the very center and heart of Tokyo where the Edo Castle was once located and the official residence of the Emperor of Japan. Because of this important place, like many other castles in the world, a giant moat was built to help defend it from invaders. The original moats were much more extensive, with some parts of an outer moat filled in or converted into recreational sites. The inner main moat is mostly still intact and we'll be sticking to that part for this walk.

I'm very sorry the signal died at the very end of the stream, but at least we were able to finish the whole loop in one video. Thank you to everyone who tuned in! I appreciate all the support, likes, donos, and questions! See y'all in the next video. Cheers!!!

Hi Cory, Enjoyed today's "stuff". The area along the moat is so beautiful and I appreciate it when you point out things of interest along the way. I stayed at the Peninsula Hotel in Nov, 2019. Took a pic of the bamboo sculpture in the lobby and it has been my wallpaper in my cellphone all these years. I think it is suppose to be a dragon. Thanks again!

Hi Cory, I actually do this walk every time im in Tokyo. My first full day in 2022 I decided to walk around the opposite way, it was the runners I remember and walking around a few passed me more than once, In November 2023 I went the way your went in the video. Great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city . This time the runners went the same way I was walking, they did in 2022. I will agIN 2025,

When I watch KZfaq, I pay a monthly fee of 15 dollars and been doing this for years because yes those commercials can be annoying when you're trying to enjoy the videos.
