See this show 5th episode made my understanding of the timeline go away! Felt like I’ve always understood til now.

Waling dead ends 13 years in theres oy a 6 month time jump in season 11 which it jumps back and forward. The other time jump is at tge end which says 1 year later.

The walking dead ends in 2024. Not 2022. In season 10 is confirmed to take place in 2022 with here’s Negan. Season 11 has lots of time jumps but mostly takes place in the back half of 2022 and start of 2023. There is then a year time jump at the end of episode 24 making it 14 years in. So 2024. By that point Rick has been gone for 11 years. And Michonne has been gone 3 or 4 years. The ones who live further break the timeline as it is saying it takes place in year 12 if RJ is only 8. This is an issue as it is confirmed Michonne leaves in year 12 which is season 10 and there is the year in the mall. The show really should take place in year 13 for it to properly line up. Unless there is a year time jump we don’t see in season 10 between episode 13 and 22. As 22 confirms a 2022 period. But this show is saying michonne left in 2021 instead.
