Lucerne / Switzerland (Luzern in German, Lozärn in Swiss-German, Lucerna in Italian) is a beautiful city that sits on Lake Lucerne. Lucerne is known for its preserved medieval architecture in a colorful old town.
We start our tour of Lucerne at the train station, walk to the old town and explore both sides of the lake. In the end we head to the Löwendenkmal where we end our tour.

La ville de Suisse que je préfère, tant pour sa propre beauté, son activité, culturelle en particulier, que pour son merveilleux environnement avec ce Lac des Quatre Cantons, à lui seul inépuisable ! Merci pour cette belle vidéo qui donne vraiment envie d'aller y séjourner !

Really lovely!! Hadn’t had the opportunity or interest to visit Lucerne before but now you’ve changed my mind! 😊👍 One of the things that is really unique is that you get to hear the different languages and see spots off the beaten track. Great resource to have these videos and I’d certainly watch again before travelling to any of these cities. As a teacher your videos really help me to have on while lesson planning and also just before bed. Super relaxing and puts me into a good frame of mind 😎☺️🙌

Tourists come to visit *nice* places such as this. The bridges over the lake and the old town sure are pretty. When going to less pretty places (as we also do here on POPtravel) you'll meet fewer tourists. So it's the other way around: nice and accessible places attract tourists. Then there are places that get fashionable through culture like TV shows for a while (like Dubrovnik) and rather boring places that only look good (Dubai). The reason how to get a boost in tourism is always interesting as this is a competition between lesser known places wanting more and at some point super popular places wanting less tourism. Switzerland has a balance also due to the costs and Lucerne didn't seem overrun by tourists at all
