Wow, listening to this I was immediately transported back in time to 1991 and was listening to Marc Cohn like it was brand new again! I came back to reality after thinking I saw the ghost of Elvis while I was walking in Graceland. It’s so sad I had to come back to 2023. But kudos you “Sing It Live!” You covers have truly become a magical elixir, and I can’t wait for Thursday’s and your new releases to take me away💜💯again, job well done!!!!

What a tremendous homage to a Classic! The lead and back up vocals were remarkable. What a distinctive voice and difficult to replicate let alone pay tribute as you have here. Music was spirited and spot on and the production was seamless.

Such an Iconic song with so much more meaning than on first appearances - especially the lyrics Now Muriel plays piano, Every Friday at the Hollywood, And they brought me down to see her, And they asked me if I would, Do a little number, And I sang with all my might She said "Tell me are you a Christian child?"And I said "Ma'am, I am tonight"... They were inspired by Marc Cohn's real life encounter with 'Muriel' where he found himself explaining the pain of the loss of his mother… At the end of the impromptu public jam session at 'The Hollywood", Muriel told Mark - "You've got to let go of your mother, child, she didn't mean to die, she's where she's got to be and you're where you have to be, child, it's time to move on." ❤❤👏👏👌👌🎤🎤

Well, I'm starting to take for granted that each new performance will be excellent. This one was no different. As usual, the musicianship was on point. The lead singer has a remarkable voice.
