Saint Denis is a major city and the capital of the State of Lemoyne, in the Bayou Nwa region on the banks of the Lannahechee River.
It is the largest city in Red Dead Redemption 2 and also the largest settlement in the entire Red Dead series.
Saint Denis is a heavily industrialized city, containing large factories with towering chimneys. As a modern city, it incorporates paved streets, has a uniformed constabulary and operates a network of tram lines. Some areas of the city are dark, covered in a blanket of fog with the sky being blocked out by smoke from the factories. Other areas are green, lively and well-lit.

exactly my thoughts. Sometimes I would go in first person mode and walk around the city for hours just absorbing the environment. Such a masterclass in theme and atmosphere

This is the kind of immersion I feel you can’t get in gta. You hear the creak of trees as you walk under them. You hear the leather creak of the saddles as horses go by. You can hear the wagons. You can hear your feet on the ground as it transitions from dirt to cobblestones. The spatial audio is just _so_ good in this game.

Ya its amazing, n there only 5 years apart, this is the difference in 5 years, imagine rdr 3 in 2028, hard to imagine tbh. The next step would be graphics like this in v.r that would literally be like entering a whole new world like teleportation & time travel pretty much.

It’s funny how I never took the time to really take in Saint denis though I’ve been there many times because usually I spend my time in gunfights and doing missions and never really take it all in this game is a masterpiece every location can make you feel a certain way and it would take forever to notice every little detail in the large map it’s really a work of art

When I play games with realistic graphics I always pay attention to rain in particular, I love rain, and how cozy it can make you feel in real life when you are watching it out of a window. If a game can make me feel the same thing, its an spectacular work

New Orleans STILL has those EXACT STREETCARS ! Some are Red, but that classic green is still going strong. My buddy took me to St. Charles street and it was exactly copied for RDR2 . it was kind of weird . lol cheers !

I’m a horse trainer and I give kid’s riding lessons and all of a sudden every kids first ride they are trying to dismount like this guy🤣 (wrong) it took me a while to figure out they think that’s the right way to get off because of this video game😂💀💀

I'm ready for my night walk around St. Denis and the area it is very rainy night but will not deter me from my walk I'm dressed in my comfortable walking clothes my very comfortable jeans pants, a khaki shirt and black raincoat, comfortable walking boots, my long brimmed stetson hat, my bandana to cover my mouth from the night air and insects that fly around me, a tote bag for some beef jerky and candy in case I get hungry, a canteen filled with water in case I get thirsty, some tobacco to chew, warm gloves, my gun holster with my revolver with plenty of ammo and a sharp knife just in case because some of the areas are rather wild at night and I don't know who or what I'll cross paths with out here, but I'm ready and it's rather quiet in some of the residential areas as everyone has gone to bed, but on the seedier sides of St. Denis it's kind of lively in certain places as they stay up late and sleep all day, well wish me luck on my rainy night walk in and around St. Denis good night all.
