My question to you is, in my verandah, the wood work or the wood frame under neath is in contact with the mud has got affected with the termites and ants and the wood has got disintegrated into mud, I want to clean from below and make use of putty, which putty would you suggest me and is it a good solution.

Hi, really good content. It seems u r quite knowledgeable on these things. I would really appreciate if u could show how we could do all these things ourselves using latest gadgets instead of depending on workers. I am sorry to say but those people (karigars) who do these things especially in India r a real pain to deal with. I would much prefer to buy latest gadgets n try out myself. I am pretty sure it's not impossible for me n will also leave out the frustration of dealing with such workers. Hence if possible make the diy videos which will show how we can do these things ourselves. Thank you.

Believe me this current practice that goes behind construction where you use medium or rough finish bricks and then you go plastering and painting it, is a bit low cost in itself. There's more to it that how many structural elements are used to make it and steel/cement is of what Grade, RCC elements are not used in excess or thicker sections than needed structurally, foundation is properly laid but not overdone. All this may sound dumb but sticking to the necessary keeps the cost in check; you don't - structure is weak; you overdo it- it becomes costly. The rest; about what material to be used and what all techniques to be used has to be site responsive; alag alag jagah ke liye ek hi problem ke alag alag solutions hote hai because we check climate, the neighbourhood, material availability and functionality of the project. Hope it helps.

सर पुट्टी को नमी वाली जगह पे करने से पुट्टी फूल के उखाड़ जाती है आप ये इंफॉर्मेशन सायद गलत तो नहीं दे रहे। ये कोन सी पुट्टी है जो आप बता रहे हैं

बहूत अच्छी जानकारी दी ह ...धन्यवाद सर चूने क़ी दीवार पे नीचे जो सीलन (लेदरी )आती ह उसको रिपेयरिंग कौनसे मेटेरियल सें करनी चाहिए अंदर और बाहार । क्योंकि सीमेंट सें रिपेयरिंग टिकती नहीं ह और सालभर मेंं गीर जाती ह ...और पेंट कौनसा करना चाहिए ..pls इसपे भी विडिओ जरूर बनाए ...tnx

Hi Nikanj, Nice to see your video on Putty & POP. I recently built my new home and I have used Ambuja's AAC Cool Bricks/Blocks in the walls instead of Red Clay bricks. I just want to know if I can use putty on these AAC Blocks directly without putting sand plaster. If it will give me good life rather than sand plaster then I would like to use it. Thanks.
