The inspector came to give our RV site a final look and he requested for us to frost-proof the RV and the pressure tank. We were planning on doing this anyway, but having an authoritative figure made us put it at the top of the list. Meg's sister, Kelly, and husband, Dave, own a company called 'Maker Pipe' which made this task a breeze and saved us precious hours. There are many off-the-shelf solutions out there, but we decided to use Maker Pipe, 3/4 inch conduit, and tin roofing as the main components to custom build an RV underskirt system.

Greetings from the BIG SKY. I'll bet 3 women will demand more of you than you'd expect concerning frost. The White Eagle has flown nearby.

Poor Autumn! I was feeling her coldness. We have the opposite problem with Lucas - he never wants to wear warm clothes! haha But I love listening to Meg beg the girls for a picture. It's the story of my life. 😂

Almost left without a comment. You guys are so "Thinking out of the box"! Glad to see Make-A-Pipe is a sponsor (right?). Know you took a break for Thanksgiving, but let us see you and the girls during the Holidays, just like back at the Beach. Really look forward to Friday mornings!

Miss you guys! Sorry no vid last Friday. The holiday took up too much time to put a video together. Didn't mean to deprive you - haha. It warms our hearts that you look forward to them every Friday :)

Looks great. You make a great team. My wife yells at me a lot. Do you yell a lot at poor john off camera? He works really hard. Almost as hard as you do.😊

I saw somewhere that you had eventually put wood on the top instead of the foam. Can you show that and explain how you did it. I am going to do just what you did to my 5th wheel!

I like the maker pipe. Never heard of that before. I could see myself using that. If you’re in your trailer next winter, consider putting 1 to 2 inch rigid foam insulation panels on the inside of your skirting, and attaching them with cold-weather HVAC tape. It won’t leave residue when you want to remove it. That insulation will significantly increase the efficiency of heating your rig, while keeping the underbelly warm and protecting tanks and pipes from freezing. This past winter was extremely hard on all full-time RV “campers”, and I learned a lot from KZfaq videos and Facebook groups. I guess that’s what we do here… Is try to learn from other peoples mistakes and successes while teaching others from our own mistakes and successes. Oh… And having fun. We also have fun! LOL Great video! Cheers!

Yes, check out Maker Pipe. They're doing amazing things and are growing fast. You'll be amazed how strong that stuff is. Believe it on not, conduit is cheaper than 2x4 lumber right now, which is crazy. Thanks for the tips on the cold weather. We found ourselves running a dehumidifier quite a bit this winter because all the condensation on the windows. I'm glad the days are getting longer and the weather is warming.

I noticed you got your periwinkle starts from the cemetery, I had a thought, these older family farms are extremely old , what are the some of the dates on the headstones ? The reason is , on these old farms they always had a dump site ,you could be sitting on a gold mine of old bottles, old coke bottles ,medicine bottles ,croks like for pickles, the most valuable bottles require corks , collectors pay crazy money for them, you never know what you'll uncover ,it's a great activity for the girls , and it gets the girls outside even more and reveals the history of the region and history, you should check out metal detectors also ,as civil war relics could also be found in your area the relics could be quite valuable too ! Check out the history of your area at the library, or historical society ,and old nursing homes, as an added bonus there are tons of you tubers that do bottle searches, civil war metal detecting, both COULD be very lucrative as a you tubers, you are gaining subscribers in your homesteading, you would gain more subs, for finding bottles, and civil war artifacts ,your subscribers could triple or quadruple and you know what that means! $$$$$.

Hi Billy! The cemetery graves (that are marked) date back to the mid 1800's. We have already found many artifacts and bottles in the dirt without any metal detecting. I would imagine lots of treasure lays beneath the grass of our yard. I have posted many of the bottles on our instagram account. We also show many throughout our videos. If you go back to our first few videos you will see the fireplace we came upon while digging for our water line. I love that kind of stuff. :) We plan on having a display area of all the bottles and artifacts we have found in our house one day. My aunt has also done extensive research on the stones in the cemetery and has an entire family tree. - Meg
