In this Walt Disney World vlog, Rachel and I grab a quick lunch at Geyser Point in Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Just missing the boat, we take the Disney Transport Bus over to Magic Kingdom for one last park day before we head home.
Whilst at Magic Kingdom, we ride the Peoplemover and Space Mountain, before the heavens open and we take shelter on It's A Small World. However, we then start making a plan to head back to the resort to dry off (one of the perks of staying on-property). We manage to amend our Lightning Lane for Tron: Lightcycle Run, so ride that before leaving for a break. Then after a change of clothes and hair drying ourselves, we make our way back to Magic Kingdom.
There, we check in for the pre-party dessert party. At this ticketed dining event, we got to enjoy a buffet of sweet treats, soft beverages, alcoholic beverages and savoury bites. We then got to watch the Happily Ever After fireworks from a private viewing area in the hub. After the fireworks, it was still pretty wet, so we decided to call it a day and wrap up our holiday with a trip report of some of our highlights back in the Copper Creek Villas.

I chose the pre fix 3 course meal at California Grill with the special fireworks view for $90 per person over the dessert party & it was the absolute highlight of our trip. Great vlog series as always! Until next time!

Hey Adam. In your next video/series could you talk a little about the preparation and organising needed for the typical experience. When I used to go to Orlando with my family before 2015 it was all so easy: we decided the night before what park we were doing the next day, rock up and buy tickets at the gate, walk around, eat wherever, and get to experience 6-10 rides/shows per day before heading home at about 8pm. The only thing stopping me from organising a Disney/Orlando trip is the sheer planning, time, and what appears to be luck that it seems to take daily now to make the most of your Disney days. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts and how it has changed over time.

This was really a wonderful trip then again all of your Disney trips have been amazing. I'm so glad to see that Rachel was able to come and join you this time! I'm used to seeing her hanging around with Cherry so seeing her be able to really enjoy a vacation at Disney for days on end with a wonderful gentleman as yourself, it really made a delightful change although I love, love, love Gary, I would love to see Rachel be able to join you more often as well. My mom always told us to pack extra pair of sandals/crocs because of the rain in florida. I don't know how many times we got rained on but it was a lot. Also, Please buy the dessert parties. Seating are great.

Loved this series. Wilderness Lodge will forever be our favorite resort. Geyser Point is such a gem. Last time we ate there, our server held our entrees so we could go over to the lake and watch the MK fireworks. And then to cap things off the sent out a special dessert for our anniversary. Cast members make the magic so much better. Thanks for showing so much of the fireworks. Love that show. Looking forward to the next series!!

We did the Fireworks After-Party when we were there end of April (same day we saw you and Cheers Ears). The 'apple pie' crepes were definitely the best of the desserts, especially if you don't just want a plate of chocolate, but recommend mixing your own POG juice mimosas!

My advice. The boat to magic kingdom from wilderness lodge is great and much nicer of an experience than the bus. However 99 percent of the time I take the 5 minute ride on an empty bus to and from magic kingdom. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes.

A random rainstorm in October caused my boyfriend and I to get stuck on it’s a small world and have to stay under the cover of that ride for a half hour. But we did see a rainbow on the bus ride to the riviera 😂

I must confess that the global pandemic and the resulting changes made to the North American Disney Parks killed my enthusiasm for all things theme park-related including your wonderful blog series. My last visit to WDW was in the Spring of 2019 and my last visit to the Disneyland Resort was the day before they closed down for safety reasons in 2020. I have not set foot inside a Disney Park since and to be honest I was not missing it. However, my niece turns 21 next Spring and wants to celebrate by doing Drinks Around the World. The entire family is going to make the trip from Southern California to Orlando to help celebrate. The rest of my family has not visited WDW since 2004 and as you know a lot has changed since then. While I have tried my best to explain what is new and different, I have discovered that sending links to your videos is easier. My family has all become fans of yours, even my octogenarian parents, and it has helped everyone understand and get excited for the upcoming trip. My niece now wants to try Wild Africa Trek after watching your video on the experience. Most importantly, I have rediscovered the absolute joy of watching your videos again. You truly are a gifted vlogger. Our family trip in 2025 will be at Copper Creek so this series with Rachel (who is a stunning beauty and lovely travel companion) was perfect for us. Even though we have all stayed at Wilderness Lodge before, your storytelling and passion for the hotel made the resort feel unexplored for all of us. We will definitely explore the second floor sitting areas when we want some peace and quiet and Geyser Point is on our list of restaurants to try. Thank you, Adam for your continued dedication to Disney vlogging and for helping me rediscover my love for the Mouse. I look forward to all of your upcoming projects.
