Im 67, but i still love fashion. I was excited to buy wide leg jeans in spring 2022. I'm 5'7" and I have long legs. Wide legs or full flares with a high waist make my legs look even longer (and remind me of my teen years in the 1970s). I occasionally see teenagers wearing them when i go out here, while everyone else is just in leggings or sweats (unless they just got out of the office). I'm so over the athleisure look!

I just spent a week on a yacht in the BVI's wearing 2 kids hats. One a bucket and the 2nd a straw hat from Carters! Looming at the puctures they look great. Go get one you will be so happy and noone will know!

I have winter hats and summer hats. If they are not too much bigger than my head, I cut and hot glue strips of felt from Walmart into the lining of the had band. That takes up some of the space. Also, I have antique hat pins that help keep them on my head.

Dear Anna,I was in Washington D.C.this past May . I paid attention to what was everyone was wearing as we visited museums. What stood out was most of the ladies at George Washington University (where the Textile Museum is) were wearing big leg pale blue jeans and crop tops, sooo cute. Exactly what you posted in your video.I personally love this look. I too live in the south (Galveston) and a linen wide leg trousers are the only sensible way to go when not in shorts or skirts.

I love hats, but, also have a small head!! I saw a tip to use weather stripping on the inside rim of the hat. It's probably 1/2" wide and has foam on one side. Works great!! Also, Amazon has hats that have a string on the inside to make hats adjustable. I have 3 of these hats with the string and wear them all the time! I also have purchased kids hats.....nobody knows the difference!!! I think you could definitely rock a cute straw fedora hat especially with the shorts!!

In my country big-headed women complain they can't wear hats because they don't look well in them. I bought a very nice straw hat at a beach town; I think it's made in China. I tried on several models until one was perfect. They come in sizes. My head is very small but I got lots of compliments when I wore that hat for a country wedding!

Last summer in August I went to an all weekend Greek festival 2 days in a row. It was baking hot in the Orthodox church yard, but I wore an eyelet white top, white cropped pants, a wide brimmed straw hat and tan Crocs ( I'm 67, forgive me) and looked cool and felt cute and fairly comfortable.

I too have a small head that i passed down to my son who has a small head. Adjustable caps and visors do not always go small enough. I have two bucket hats that fit pretty well and a wide brimmed straw and turquoise hat i bought at publix in key west that could be a great statement hat.

I adore hats! Most I own are vintage ( when they designed a well fitting hat) I suggest going that route to find what looks best with your face shape, just a suggestion :)

I have a smallish head too, but I love and wear hats. I’d like to wear them even more. I have to add an extra band inside most over-the- counter hats. Hats used to come in SIZES and probably still do in expensive places…like a hat shop

I have a small head and I love hats. A lot of them have adjustable bands or just bands which you can adjust yourselves by sawing the band smaller.

I did actually dye my hair pink. It’s fun ! At a Mother’s Day luncheon a little girl asked me if I was a mermaid! Precious! I’m in my late 60s-better to go pink than be “an old blue hair” unless of course it’s bright blue.

Totally enjoyed this video! As to hats; many now come with adjustable 'sweat bands' that allow you to resize them and then there are insert notions as other commenters have mentioned. That being said; either way I am sure you would look adorable in one. Also in regards to a fashion statement; for the summer months on occasion (sandal weather and for casual wear) I have dressed my toe nails with fingernail 'peel and apply - nail polish strips' (themed 'n patterned) that just involves some trimming and following manufacture's instructions for application. To conclude; I then finish off my fingernails with a clear polish so as not to compete with them. P..S.: I am 75 years old and consider myself a classic dresser but its amazing how many people notice and comment on them asking me where I got them done etc.

Hi Anna.. I love seeing you pop up on my feed. I love that you mention a lot that u live in Florida, because usually it is too hot here in our part of WV to wear layers or too heavy of clothes. This year it has been cooler which my husband loves. Today , I had a cat scan and and wore black joggers, mock thin turtleneck, black denim joggers and a denim jacket...it will get hot here soon. Be glad you have a smaller head.. I have a big head apparently. It is hard for me to find those that fit me. I love caps but have to buy men's. I have found some bigger straw hats that fit my big head. Your metallic shorts are so good. Your wardrobe has everything. I need to fill in some holes, but you have taught me a lot, and what to buy.. You and your friend looked so good going to the concert. Thanks Anna..looking beautiful as always. . ♡♡♡♡ Oh I worked beside an older man at a salon. I like many of your “statement outfits” here, especially the all-white. One of my favorites is taupe and white, and I just love white bottoms (skirts and trousers) a lot, with any color top. White is so much more chic than black, and unlike black, really does go with every other color. (I do wear some black, it’s tough to have a wardrobe completely without it, but it’s not a favorite). Brights don’t suit me, but my cool pastels with white do, and I love these combinations.

I also have a small head and fit better in childrens hats! I wear adjustable ball caps if I'm in the sun and I did find a wide brim sun hat at nordstrom about a year ago and I was so surprised it fit me I had to buy it even though I don't love how it looks on me..

Amazon has these spongy soft inserts to put on the inside rim of a hat to make them smaller. Sometimes I use 2 or 3 to make a hat fit the way I like. Now I can choose any hat I like and make it work. My favorite hats are by Eric Javits. They are expensive but worth every penny.

You need to try Gigi pip hats! They are an investment, but once you find the right one they are amazing. I’ve been wearing for years and have like 8! Measure your head based on their site directions and they should have a size that fits a smaller head! Likely you’ll wear the x small which is similar to a kids size I think. They also have adjustable bands!

I have a sm head, too. The only time I wear a hat is in the AM walking my doggie. I , also, have narrow feet. So both are a challenge. I get it! Unless a visor has adjustable velcro, it would never work.

I have a small head like you 👍 I go for nice quality hats in straw fedora or wool fedora or a boat hat or a bowler hat and always get a size small(that’s the key- maybe you have had a hard time finding size small hats and that’s why you are always looking for a hat that fits because the smalls are usually all bought up because small heads are not all that uncommon). 😅 ps: the black dress with the green bottega Veneta bag looks so cool.😎

I like your fashion advise the best because you follow the trends but interpret them in a practical, realistic way. As to hats, my opinion is (I'm 61 and have been interested in the history of fashion for some time now) that, aesthetically, it does not matter the size of your head itself. (By the way models and dancers have small heads and having a relatively small head is considered by many to be attractive.) Anyway, I think it is more important to choose a hat that one, flatters your best facial features (such as eyes or cheek bones), and, two, is not over-powering for your frame. So, for example, although average height, I have a rather small frame (small bones) and a fairly small face, so I do not ordinarily wear hats that have a large brim or a large crown, unless I am at the beach or some other outdoor activity (boat or picnic or such). Generally, I would choose one with a small to medium brim. Even more important than frame size is, I would say, height. I think very large brim hats or very ornate, heavily decorated hats are more successful on a tall lady (eg. 5.7" or more) and can over-power a short or even average height lady. This is where tall is a real advantage. Tall and slender, so much the better! But I still wear mine to keep the sun off.

I love the wide leg pants on you, however I do not have a flat tummy and so on me they look awful. Some items are just not for everyone. However, the high waist jeans and trousers were a godsend. Some look so ultra-flattering it’s unreal. Love em. It’s actually been easier for me to dump some of my previously loved low waisted jeans (though more unflattering since adding a couple of pounds) which I struggled to let go of

I have the opposite problem with hats but I found a haberdashery in my college town years and years ago (way too many) and I still swear by fitting by size. Find a men's hat store and you can get hats in small sizes as well as large. Never understood why only men get the advantage of sizes. ❤👀

I've got an extra large head (just a half inch bigger than average) and I do find straw hats in XL. Now shoes are almost impossible, since I'm an 11.5 and there are shoes in half sizes for all sizes except 11! It goes 10, 10.5, 11, 12. Why??? I don't know why my head and feet are so big. I'm only 5'7." Grr! I mostly just wear men's white sneakers for shoes. (Crocs at home.)

No asymmetrical clothes or novelty prints (gummy gears, balloons, lobsters, etc.), for me. I have enough asymmetry in my face and body already, the last thing I want to do is emphasize that. I do love classic patterns, and am loving some of the current foliage/leaf prints instead of big florals, especially in limited, neutral palettes, and many new geometric ones, too. I also love contrast trim, it’s classic but adds lots of interest. My style is classic and simple, but I do love having some patterned items, I would be bored in all solid pieces. Sometimes when I do wear all solids, I add a silk scarf, I’ve always loved and worn them, for 40 years now, “trending” or not.

I've started wearing silk scarves fairly recently and I feel so saucy! It's a great way to have a change from necklaces. I went for a 3 day getaway to the coast (Massachusetts) recently, and one day was colder and much windier than I expected. I had a scarf around my neck, so I tied it on my head 1950s style and with my cat's eye sunglasses it looked adorable and kept me warm and my hair in place too!

I’m a Floridian. Yes! Makeup does not stay on your face! I went through airport security with all of my eye makeup melted under my eyes and didn’t realize it until other people in line started to make comments. I like I was in a horror movie.

I feel your pain on the hat situation. I have a small head too. I hardly ever wear hats and if I do they are uncomfortable. I have tried pinning the sides of baseball caps up so they don’t get in the way of my ears but that looks kind of funny. No idea what to do.

Fun video! I'm not a hat person either, they're cute but not on me, I have a small head and the feeling of a hat bothers me, it's almost claustrophobic, lol. I love white on white & the light denim jeans with the white short sleeve button down...very classy.

Diesel had an awesome silver metallic jeans that I loved so much. But I hesitated because I thought I didn’t have many occasions to wear it. Then it was sold out. 😢
