I've fired about 1000 rounds through mine with no issues whatsoever. I had went to the local gun shop originally for a GSG but they were out. I then decided to go with the Tac R1 and no regrets at all.

I work at a turners, and these are going off the shelves like candy, I had to pick one up, this is the closest real deal 22.Lr AR-15 I’ve felt by far.

I just purchased one. Took it out yesterday for the first time. Love it. No malfunctions. Shoots like a champ. Mine was $380.

The best .22 LR rifle I've ever owned. Very accurate and it defines reliable. I've put a ton of rounds through it, of several different brands and types. It eats them all. I've never had a failure. Back when the great .22 drought was going on, I came across a brick of 500 Geco cartridges. The box had nothing giving the velocity of the rounds other than a vague "Optimized for bolt action rifles". Since I bought them, they've been collecting dust in my safe, as they turned out to be subsonic. Very subsonic. They turned every single .22 I own, rifles and pistols, into single shots. Nothing would cycle them. But the Hammerli does. Right out of the box. It eats them up and spits them out. And with a forged aluminum upper and lower, along with a full length aluminum M-LOK fore grip, it feels and handles like an AR-15. Not a plastic toy.

As far as the heavy trigger pull goes, HK parts has a spring kit that will reduce the 10 to 12 pound pull down to abut 6 to 7 pounds. This spring kit will also work on the HK416 and Colt M4 in 22lr because they all share the same bolt and trigger assembly.

Unfortunately the trigger housing on mine was plastic. It cost me an additional $101 (including shipping) to get Walther to provide me with a metal trigger assembly.

Just caught this video..thanks for posting. I guess by now, everyone here has learned that there’s a tiny “actual” barrel inside what looks like the normal barrel, and the whole action, including the real barrel comes out the back by first unscrewing the flash hider. Bizarre, but I’ve seen decent reviews.

just got mine I've read online that you should not dry fire rim fire firearms as it will damage it but how will I clear the gun then? What has your experience been so far dry firing this gun if you do?

Enjoyed the video, well done. Originally looking at the S&W 15-22, then saw the Tippmann M4-22 Elite rifle. I decided to spend a bit more went with the Tippmann. Just seeing this now, though wouldn't change. I like this rifle better than the Smith for sure, H&K up there too. Understand the training aspect, though something bugs me a tad about non functional, strictly cosmetic parts, the Tippmann has none of that.

Wouldn't you need to mount tje red dot on a riser to be able to use tje flip up sights? Or you using those in unison somehow

Literally just picked this up, and I feel like the gun store ripped me off, firstly it looks scuffed like it did have sites but they removed them 2nd it says 3mags but only came with 1. Said new, paid $371 for it. Don’t suppose you’d think I got ripped off?

I bought one of these through Simmons Sporting Goods in Louisiana. Ran 120 rounds through it and the extractor fell out. I have been trying to contact anyone about this gun. Simmons is worthless and I recommend that you stay away from them. So far I havent heard anything from the manufacturer/distributor here. It looked to be a good gun but it turned out to be a POS for me. If I get any response from the emails I sent I will be sure and update. For now, buyer beware.

I have a S&W 15-22.....the non functional features of this gun really turned me off, what a waste. And I love Walthers normally, I have a P22 and a PPK
