Love the design of the P38, 2nd favourite after the Desert Eagle 👍🏻 The fact it’s also the original Earth form of Megatron adds to its desirability 😁

Lol so funny to see how you are not used to presenting in this old vid compared to the ease you present now a days (the lady however at the end is a natural) Happen to have the bling bling silver gold P38, some kind of special addition i think.

I so love watching an oldy every now and then. A bit stiff around the narration 😄. Good enough still, just ordered what's probably one of the last p38 in circulation. Cheers

The designers at Umarex are obviously colorblind. They got the stocks on this and the MP40 way too light colored. Also on the real thing the grips/stocks are shiny and made of bakelite, which was a very hard and dense plastic which had a look and surface of quality...

Real P-38 pistols has bakelite grips, an early type of plastic. Not wood. I have a real P-38 also, and they feel pretty much the same.

Don't buy this. The last year I have had 2 Umarex P-38 pistols and both broke after less than 100 co2 capsules. I also had 2 Umarex Luger P-08, both off them broke also...It is some really bad quality metal. If you shoot them a lot, something WILL break. In 1 year I have broke 4 Umarex pistols. I have not used them in a wrong way, it's just bad quality. In all pistols the metal have broken in different places. I still have the warranty, but I will not try to get a new one, because it will also break. Piece off junk. Why can't they use better metal? If they was made off real metal they would not break. They are made off pot metal.
@WhattAreYouSaying
@WhattAreYouSaying 2 жыл бұрын
@@orangehorse5037 Yeah, you are right. Its cost, everything nowdays is about making things in the cheapest way possible. Just look at the non-firing Denix replica guns. They are made of potmetal and it even says in the instructions that it is not recommended to dry fire them because they can break. About 10 years ago I had a Denix MP-41 and it broke after very little dry firing. The barrel fell off and some other parts that I dont rememeber also broke. Now I collect deactivated WW2 and WW1 guns instead, I have 56 different guns. They do not break when dry firing because they are real guns and made off real high quality steel.

Every Umarex gun l have and had has developed faults withing 2 to 5 co2 bulbs, bar 1,a colt 45 peacemaker in blue, but only because l havent fired it much yet , also 4 out of 5 colt 45 peacemakers all had loose barrels with varying degrees, one so bad l had it sent back and indeed they fixed it tight but then the action wouldnt turn the cylinder, got a new gun as replacement but guess what, yeah the barrel was loose when l pointed this out l was told they no longer repair them as the looseness of the barrel didnt affect the accuracy of the gun !! Talk about gob smacked, l later discovered that loose barrels especially in the Colts was a well known theme, why cant they make them tight as the blued bb version?? But loose, wobbly barrel is not just defined to the colts its also a feature on the semi autos, which l recently discovered to my expense, l bought a Luger PO8 brand new from the gunshop less than a week ago, bliwback version the first l ever bought as l prefer revolvers and then only those over a hundred years old in design, but l had fancied the Luger and Broom Handled Mauser as part of my antiiquwe collection, l have 4 colts 45s peacemakers 5.5 inch barrels, 2 in worn black look a nickel silver and a blued bb, also a Crosman Remington 1875... 7.5 barrel in silver, a Schofield M3.. 7 inch barrel in worn black. And a Webley VI in 22 calibre. Funnily enough l was advised not to buy the Remington as it was susceptible to many breakdowns of different types, yet ironically its been the one gun has not broken and the one l use most, it has two sets of shells one for bbs and one for pellets. I must have fired it 10 times more than the other guns and still working well tho bbs are best. The Luger l got began playing up the first bulb change l did it completely emptied the bulb before l even loaded the mag ( which tho meant to be brand new was very worn on the struts of its frame that went inside,, but l tried another bulb and it fired 15 bbs before phutting all the gas out the top of the gun, l tried another and this did 30 then went into full auto despite that not being a feature lol emptied the mag and powered out the mag under its own volition sending it crashing into the concrete floor of my back yard quite marking up the edges of the bottom of the mag, determined not to give in l put in another mag this time it did 40 bbs but 30 as single shots me having to cock it for each shot then on the 40th it ejected all the gas and the mag again, as l took out the bulb l noticed it the screw that pushes up the bulb had somehow become loose and fallen away from the bulb l know not how as l had tightened it enough ( do it firmly but not full on hardly moveable to get bavck unscrewed like some do as it damages the bulb penetrator ) so l next time put in a bulb tightened it waited a second or two and tightened it some more l could feel it had loosened slightly, l replaced it and this time l took more time between shots and it did 55 bbs over two and a half mags, before stopping thru lack of co2, pleased with this l removed mag and noticed the screw had once again become looser but not enough to let the bulb shift away from the seal, l reckon the blowback action when done fast must vibrate the screw looser somehow, now l know to shoot it slowly, hopefully the problem will be solved, but then theres the..... Loose barrel on it to contend with, yes another loose barrel and this must affect the accuracy as the barrels moved about violently with the blowback, l love the guns and when they are shooting well its a great feeling but everytime l go to fit a bulb in any of them it could go wrong, they arent cheap either, well not here in England in America they work out around £69 for some to £95 for others but over here despite us getting a dolkar and a third to our pound, I'm paying £230 on some with an average of £200 the rest so 10 guns has cost me £2000 and then cases £180, umarex duck targets in a box x2 £70, shoot n c targets £12 for 12 targets, pellets average £8 a tin of 500 cheapish pellets, pelgun oil £5.99 a small tube, 22 pellets £12 a tin for cheap ones, cleaner and pellet rod £20, the one cheap deal l have had was bottles of umarex bbs 1,500 a bottle l managed to buy at £4 a bottle so l got 18 bottles., various other targets and cleaning pellets, etc its not a cheap hobby and if l were paying only £65 a gun l wouldnt be too bothered about them breaking and needing a repair which takes months n months n months in some case, but at £200 a gun l want better quality, they need to find a better co2 delivery system or at least a better made seal as they are the main problem l have
