Walton Goggins is criminally underrated as an actor.

Boyd Crowder is one of the best characters ever. And Walton's representation of Boyd was just remarkable = as close to perfect as acting gets.

This man will go down as one of the Greatest actors of his generation!

Justified. Just great. Ranks with the Sopranos and Breaking Bad as the very best, will watch Walter in anything now.

I read that Walton Goggins was kind of reserved about playing such a bad guy, but he brought Boyd Crowder to life in a big way. Now I can't think of any other actor who could have done a better, more convincing job than he did! Thanks, Mr. Goggins!! :)

Walton as Shane Vendrell was next level. And to think, Shane was almost relegated to a background character. That's how he was intended in the beginning. It wasn't until Walton inhabited the character that Shawn Ryan and the other writers saw what Shane could be. Awesome. The Shield is one of my all-time, desert island favorite shows.

The Shield was next level at the time. Justified was amazing. I could listen to Walton talk all day.

Just reading through the comments shows how good Walton is. Some love him as Boyd, others as Shane, some as Venus and yet more as his Hateful 8 character. All that proves is that the man can act. I first saw him as Shane Vendrell, an outstanding character in a series that had so many other outstanding characters. I kinda hated Shane but when I saw Walton as Boyd I just loved him. The man has starred in two of my favourite TV shows and it's kinda hard to discount his part in that. I'm not sure where he'l end up nxt, but I do know that I'll be watching it, and I honestly can't say that about many other actors.

This past year I watched The Shield and then Justified. Walton Goggins was amazing in both shows, to be sure. I've wondered how things would have turned out if he had been cast as Negan in The Walking Dead. Couldn't you just imagine Negan channeling his inner Boyd Crowder?

I am so sad The Unicorn was cancelled. I loved that show! The cast was PERFECT! And the chemistry between Walton and Natalie was amazing in season 2. It took me a while to not see Boyd and Winona, though, but that show was such a joy to watch!

Society will never know the extent to which we truly need him to reprise Boyd Crowder. Whether it be his own storyline or to bring back the Justified world entirely.

I love how his character he plays on justified wears his hair. I realize he just has to wear it straight up in the air, cause his hair here is just laid back. 😅 his character is one of my favorite characters in the series. Sir you are a great actor.

I see where he's coming from with the Boyd Crowder character being a white supremacist, it's funny though after a few episodes You kind of forget Boyd started out as THAT but became a way more complex character, Boyd had his hilarious moments too, that role is way underrated.

Walton was in a few episodes of In the Heat of the Night, way back when.

One of the best. Used to see him at LA Fitness, Sherman Oaks, mid 90s. Not sure if he was a trainer. He’s got a friend named Jeff, also from The gym, who’s also a fine actor

So many great takeaways. First, I feel a strong case can be made that Quinton Tarantino is the best film maker ever. I know many will point to Spielberg or Hitchcock or one of the hundreds of others but for my money he has never made a bad film. Second, while not my favorite of all time (Breaking Bad), The Shield imo never had a bad episode EVER! That might be one of the hardest things a long running TV show can do. It also stuck the landing so perfect the way it ended. 👌

Part of the Braves attraction was that for some insane reason they were in the Western division for many years, so if your team already played that day, many Braves road games were on the west coast against their divisional rivals & started late at night, after your home town team's game was finished. So you got to see a 2nd ballgame at night on TBS. If you loved baseball, you got 2 games a night back then long before ESPN or anybody else aired baseball. The only other non-home city games you got was maybe the Saturday afternoon game on ABC or NBC.

He's one of the best TV villains ever! I root for Raylan and Boyd at the same time on Justified! He's such a nice guy!

I think without Walton, Boyd Crowder could have very easily been a flat, two-dimensional, character who you know everything about after the first 2 minutes of seeing them on screen, but with Walton we were always left guessing. He made Boyd interesting and enigmatic whilst still being the bad guy. It's a very hard balance to get right and Walton did it perfectly. He said everything we needed to know about Boyd without words, or with words but in a way that went beyond the simple meanings. He really brought him to life, made him a person we could imagine and feel something about rather than one more brainless villain with no personality that ever went outside the most convenient way to look at him. Walton is a huge part of what made Boyd Crowder human, and not just a stereotype. I think he's a fantastic actor

Buckhead section of Atlanta was always where we stayed when hitting town for sports, convention center trips .... just up from the Buckhead transit system station - loved it. Seems nothing stays the same. Just sad to see recklessness and incompetence of city planners and politics at work.

Walton Goggins is awesome and Justified was a great show but Dale Murphy. Jeez As a Giants fan I want to hate him but he's too good. Unless my old man memory is totally shot, I remember back in the late 80's he hit two 3 run homeruns against the Giants in one inning.
