Yes the Elliot Bible was written in the language spoken now as Wampanoag, but the dialect of the language it was writen in was that of the Natick people. That is not to discredit the tradition but from a linguistic sense Wampanoag and Natick were two similar dialects of a common language, Massachusett

But this one really takes the cake as being the most useless I’ve probably ever seen. Why would you revive a dead niche language with no written records? At least if you learn Latin, there are literally TONS of important historical records scattered around the globe in Latin + romance languages + the legacy of the Romans. Learning this random native language creates literally zero opportunity to do anything useful to the world. It’s a silly curiosity.

You don't make ppl come to Christ by taking their language, banning their cultural practice and taking their land. To spread the good news of Christ you don't take you give🤦

Well that was incredibly tone deaf, at best. I don't think there's anything I can say to you to make you see how toxic this mindset is. You think non-christians are missing something and it's your job to see that they get it (whether they want it or not). Imagine someone of any other faith doing the same thing to you. Pestering you about why their religion is so great and they're concerned for your soul trying to get you to come to their house of worship etc. Would you appreciate that? I doubt it.
