Hi I’ve just brought a t6 max I have noticed that the adapter becomes quite hot I live in the uk so I have changed 2 pin plug to 3 pin plug

Thank you for this detailed review. One question - there are no controls on the projector (esp focusing) right ?- only on the remote!. So what if the remote stops working - do you think we can control it maybe using some mobile app? (I am assuming this is a bluetooth remote)

@@jayceooi Noted on the keystone. But just wondering if the picture quality of the dice will be that much better since its a DLP and worth double the price. Will be mainly using it to cast 100" or more in a darker room for movies and netflix.

Install Kodi. You can play almost every 4K MKV video with H.265 then. Lot of audio codecs support too.

I've been choosing between this, the Wemax and the Zeemr D1 pro for my small room with a big white wall. Any advice on which I should go for considering that I'm a photographer and more intent on mirroring from my mobile phone and laptop. Also I'm an avid fan of Honkai and Genshin Impact. I would live to see my screen records and shots on a good mini projector..

Hi Jayce! Thanks for this video. I bought the T6 Max because of this review. Do you have a calibration method? Mine came with really bad contrast and colors. Im trying to manually adjust the settings but unable to find the right spot. plus the focus is realy bad either automatic or manual i cant get it to be perfectly sharp

I have a usatisfy mini dlp projector already..it says it is 350 ansi (another website says it is 50!) and WVGA 854 * 480 resolution. This wanbo should be much brighter and clearer right?

Hi jayce is there any solution about the picture quality the projectıor not bright at all.. 4 key correction makes screen blurry and threre is No solution to fix it while watching a movie subtitles makes you uncomfortable while watching video i need to make Focus the colours not good what is your opnion Any update can solve these problems

No, please watch in a dark room. Don't use keystone correction. Budget LCD projectors are all the same. DLP projectors are better but still having the same issue. As I mentioned in the review, T6 Max has 45% NTSC colour gamut only. No update can fix it.

Jayce, I noticed on your chart and comoarisons you mentioned the 45% NTSC as biggest disadvantage of this Projector. Atm it's the closest that fits for my budget, throw ratio etc. Will this be an upgrade for me coming from T2 Max? My main issue with T2 Max is the low brightness

I'm on same situation. Bought byintek k25 smart version (yg650) , but t6 max has better processor, ram and is dust proof. But since I game a lot I guess the t6 wouldn't suit me we'll.

@@gutocracker do you have uneven focus problem especially blurry corners? Coz mine got kinda blurry text on corners (at around 100 inch size) if the text size is not enlarged

Got a question around blurriness when the projector in slightly tilted - getting blurriness around the edges. Is there something I can do to fix it or is it because my wall is curve and I cannot see it.... Probably tiled around 45 degree angle and then using keystone

Nope, you can't do anything to fix the edges' blurriness when not projected directly. As I always mentioned, direct projection gives the best image quality...

Nope, DLP has nothing do here. Because most of the China projectors have 'fake' markup values including Wanbo.

@@jayceooi thanks a lot! I've noticed that bad input lag on games. luckily there is an option "Hdmi low latency" that is a "game changer" literally. But for my surprise was on HDMI(PS4) choosing game or monitor mode! Input lag is much better. Fortnite very playable that way!

I tested mine today and it is very hard to focus. When I focus to the bottom part upper part gets blurry and vice versa. It also says that you can side project but when I side project it is impossible to align the focus on the left and right. Can you suggest anything? All this is tested for to get near 100 inch display.

It's normal for budget LCD projector. As I always mentioned, don't use keystone correction. And project directly gives the best image result.

Both are not perfect because lack of colour temp adjustment. T6 Max looks better than YG650 even with 45% NTSC panel only.

Yes, and no. Some features are much better than VP6 but some don't. If you plan to buy T6 Max, now is the best time with discount coupon. I believe the price will be fixed at $300 when stock is available.

Hi Jayce, Thanks for the video,i have watched nearly four times.I bought it recently from Banggood delivered in Belgium.Now am using it in Mauritius.there has been recently an update whereby several features were disclosed and enhanced.Howver am facing an issue when using the ear phone .First i connect it directly from the projector but there was no sound comimg through the earphone, however the sound was cut from the projector.I also try to connect with an amplier still no sound.There should be some setting for outputting the sound.kindly help

Thank you so much for your reviews, Jayce. I wonder if this could be a better option than Lenovo L5. This seems to be more up-to-date in regards to the set of tech it comes with but I really like the blacks in the L5. I trying to get something with high brightness so that it can be use during the day but also with good blacks for the night haha (as I'm planning to use it as a replacement for a TV). Is this still a good option? I like your review of the VP15 where you show how bright it could get. Impressive. Thanks again.

Hi.. How are you sure that it is 45% NTSC only. It is no where mentioned. Also, the contrast ratio is better on this compared to its competitors. Can you help confirm on this? If this may be 72% or 100% NTSC. Also, do projectors really make any difference with NTSC percentage at larger screen size?

Use colour calibrator to check. No. The colours are dull to be 72%, not to meantion 100% NTSC. Yes. Brightness does make the different.

Yes, it was based on the earliest specs that I got from Wanbo. Apparently, they lower it to 550 ANSI lumens now.
