Hello guys, meet Wanbo X1 Pro. A hidden gem that I should get earlier. It is a 720P LCD projector with Android 9.0 built-in. Loaded with 350 ANSI Lumens, 2000:1 contrast ratio, 20,000 LED lamp life and a 3W speaker. Comes with electronic 4-way keystone correction support. Saw some of your comparison videos and finally decided on x1 pro. I was almost convinced to buy T2 max from other video reviews, but after seeing your review and 2 hours researching other brands from your best projector list, I decided on this (mi projector is out of my budget unfortunately). @@estebanroblesacuna2451 after a few months of usage and also tried xiaomi ones, save up for the xiaomi ones i would say. You will not regret it. This one is good for its value but definitely you will feel somethings lacking. Xiaomi one feels perfect.

Dear Jayce Ooi You are my benchmark in buying a projector, even your projector's excel ranking table is always in my browser tab. Considering power consumption and price, I plan to buy this projector, but I have one question to ask, how is the quality of using this projector for the long term? does it break fast? because I found several reviews that discussed the Wanbo T2 max projector (not the projector x1 pro) damaged very quickly, even in several uses. I'm a little afraid because the price is quite expensive for just a trial and error, plus in my country there is no service center, I also don't know if the parts in this projector are easy to find to repair/replace yourself in the future. please answer

I've seen other reviewers complaining the adjustments were reseted when the input was changed to HDMI, or that they couldn't adjust keystone when using something other than the built-in android... I'm planning to use an external tv stick and I was afraid it wouldn't work. Sorry to bother, but I've got another question before I buy it: will I be able to project a small screen size (let's say 40") from 2.5m away, just playing with the zoom settings/keystone? I want to project something more like a "TV screen size", without having the projector too close from the wall. Would that be possible? Thanks a lot!

@@felipet1128 If got complains, then it might not work. I don't use keystone correction. Why getting Android projector if you plan to use external TV Stick? Yes, possible. But image quality is greatly reduced with zoom. Same applies to keystone.

Great review! After watching your review I decided to purchase this projector. Everything is good so far. One minor issue I am facing 4K playback is choppy in MX player. The inbuilt player video clarity is really poor. Which player did you use to play the 4K video? Love from India ❤

Hello, I just bought this model and all good but when it comes to connect an xbox one and open a game the screen starts to blink, apparently detects a resolution higher than 1080 and does not support but I could not solve that problem, and it only does when opening the games, while I'm in the menu of the console does not pass. What do you recommend I do?

Hi Jayce. Been watching a lot of your videos. May I know if there's a difference between model: Wanbo X1 Android, and model: Wanbo X1 Pro? Seemingly the 2 remotes are different. Volume left/right vs volume up/down, remote shape and some other button arrangements. Please confirm if there are other differences on the unit itself. I couldn't find it anywhere on the web.

Both of them should be the same. There are 2 models of X1 only - Basic and Android.

Hi Jayce, great review as always! I've decided to buy the Wanbo X1 Pro after watching your review, the input lag and 60hz experience was definitely the selling point of this projector for me, but now seeing the Aliexpress link I see that there's a X1 Pro 1080p version as well as a X1 Max 1080p version. Which one would you recommend? Is the X1 Pro 1080p any different from the 720p version besides resolution? Thanks in advance!

Hey, have you had any issues with white spots showing? i just returned mine, bought it like a month ago and it started showing white spots like a week ago, ive read it might be due to the projector getting too hot but it wasnt my case, it never went up 50 C.

Thanks for replying! Is there a significant difference between x1 and x1 pro? I believe x1 is 300 ANSI lumens but x1 pro is 350 ANSI lumens. Is there one that you prefer over the other?

From these 2 - X1 Pro is better. But both of them not so good to use during the day. Better get Android YG650 @ shp.ee/jakewjr That's the brightest budget projector that I have tested yet.

Hi Jayce. Thanks for reviewing the projector. I hv mine now too. But I cant connect my samsung galaxy tab s7 via miracast. The red screen symbols appeared as in your video, but yours still hve the projection. While mine I can only hear the sound but the screen is pitch black. How do I solve that issue if you may help?

Can you mirror your phone first page? Or can't at all? Sometime certain apps don't allow you to wireless cast.

Did you watch my review? 😊 For 720p, you will notice the bigger pixels when sit near to the screen.

@@patrick7241 I don't have T2 Max input lag number. Can't comment. No, X1 Pro audio and graphics processing is based CPU on Android. X1 is using another CPU. So not same.

hello i would like to ask 2 questions regarding my wanbo x1 pro which i recently got 1) How do i get rid of a blue line at the bottom right corner of the projected image on my wall, it is always there, is my projector a faulty? 2) Whenever i screen mirror from my Ipad to my wall, the video on my ipad seems brighter in colour n contrast while on my wall it seems dark n dimmed, some colours not detailed. I tried going to settings on main menu but it seems like it doesnt affect the video on airplay but only on the built in apps eg KZfaq. For example i tried maxing out brightness to 100, on the built in KZfaq app the video brightness is 100 and too bright to see anything, but on airplay using my phone to screen mirror it seems like the brightness 100 doesnt affect anything. So how do i change the physical brightness n contrast projected on my wall thru screen mirroring airplay?
