She basically was the reality stone. Quicksilver, her twin brother, sacrificed himself to save her, and all he could. The loss of control, when you care so much for everyone else. They were... well, in canon, the twin siblings of Magneto. Omega level mutant. Holocaust survivor. If you wanna delve deep, the vying for things that mutants/vs humans are doing, is ultimately self-defeating. It's modern mythology. Great storytelling. Problem with me, is... I've lived it. No mutant powers or anything like that, but... a lot of other things.

I feel Wanda's pain and understand why she did it. She lost everyone she loved, but that made her even more of a monster. Captain America lost everyone he knew when he was frozen in ice, including his love. Tony Stark lost his parents. Jessica Jones lost her family, her love, and then she lost her mother again. Yet none of them became mass murderers. (don't take it as an insult, I'm just writing my opinion + Wanda is my favorite character, even if she became a monster in my eyes. and I would have done the same in her place.)

She enslaved an entire town, killed the sorcerors of kamertaj, killed the greatest heroes of another universe, tried to kill an innocent girl, attempted to kill a mother to take her kids, and threatened all of reality. She's definitely a villain.

It's not about her being just a mother. It's more of her being a tragic figure in general. She became an orphan, a widow and childless in the span of a few years. It makes you wonder how much grief and sadness can a human being take before they snap, especially if they are possessed by a wiccan-cosmic being of tremendous power such as the scarlet witch.

And everything she had done in MoM is because of the darkhold's corruption, it showed her things that she would've liked, it tempted her until she became lost and vulnerable that the darkhold was able to corrupt her mind. But boyyy!! I do like Wanda/The scarlet witch being Reasonable. 😌💅

@@ninkoling7906 TRUEE I mean her being a grey character is expected anyways, it wouldn't make sense if her story just ends up being a full time hero given that she had a very tragic life, like she may be a Cosmic or "mythical" being (said by Agatha), but she still lived a very human life (mentality wise), and human mentality/emotions are prone to depression that can ruin the person that has it.

Her so called friends were never there for her in the first place. Had they been then maybe she wouldn’t have went down the path she did. Even in the comics nobody really cared or paid attention to what was going on.

Every one of them chose to do the things they did. Stark was just an excuse and had the unfortunate luck of surrounded himself with those who were unhinged and who had to have power at any cost. None of them were really Starks fault. Nor did Stark hold their hands and lead them to being evil. Iron Monger, he wanted power and money. He used Stark to get that and then tried to kill Stark. Whiplash had a vendetta against the Stark family because to him, he felt that they had left his father in ruin and to die. Never mind that it was his own father who made the choice to do illegal things and both Shield and Howard had him deported because of that. The leader of AIM was already crazy and socially incompetent. It was him who thought he was entitled and wanted to use Starks name to back his own ideas. And because of this he was unable to pick up on basic social cues that he was invading Stark and his groups personal space. Should Stark have set him up like that, no but it was very obvious that Stark wasn't up for entertaining or working at that time. It was New Years Eve and late in the night. Ultron... at best 50% Starks fault. The other would be Wandas. As much as everyone wants to write off her actions there, the intention was always to destroy Stark by forcing him to make a mistake. And then later Ultron made his own choices. The vulture wasn't even close to being Starks fault. It would have happened without Stark involved. It was Shields choice to not allow civilians to help cleanup, and rightfully so. They had no idea if anything was harmful and adding on to that within seconds of coming across the power source the clean up crew were already exterminating with what they found. Mysterio was just like AIM only already psychotic and delusional. Wanda, just like the rest, made her own choices while using Stark as an excuse. If anything she was a victim to her own delusional wants and dreams of what she thought was a happy world and ideal life. She was willing to force that on to others from the beginning all the way through the MCU.

She isn't really a victim, only to herself and her own poor choices. That is why she is one of the best written villains in the MCU. The best villains have a reason for their madness, a great story on how they became evil... that is Wanda. She made that choice when she decided to use the darkhold to get what she wanted. It may have corrupted her, but she was a willing party to that.

But we can put theory into practice. It's not easy but give it a try. I don't know what you are going through but I wish you peace ❤️
