Well, it's not just Mad World, it's also "What a Wonderful World". Why? Because it's a duality in songs, and also because, although I didn't like Wanda's arc in this movie, we understand what Raimi wanted to do. He wanted to make this duality between Wanda and Strange, and here it is:

- Both are unhappy
- Both have the powers of gods and can have everything they want and they can't at the same time
The difference:
- Wanda, as the antagonist, shows how an evil book corrupted her and tries to get what she lost. She's the nightmare of her variants
- Strange, as the protagonist, shows how he wants to have what he lost, but he was never corrupted by the Darkhold. He's the dream of his variants, since Strange's variants are evil, corrupted by the Darkhold.
- Wanda is seen as good in every other universe, and Strange is seen as the evil one. The opposite of 616.
- Wanda has a dark book and Strange needs the withe magic one to stop her.
- Wanda breaks the rules subconsciously and becomes the villain. Strange breaks the rules consciously to help Peter and he's the hero.
It's a duality. It's like the Jing and Jang. I understand what Raimi tried to do. Though it destroyed Wanda's arc from WandaVision. It's like they needed a villain for this movie and took a hero and made them the enemy. It's like for Shang Chi they take Thor and make him read the Darkhold and that's it, you got a villain. I hate Michael Waldron.
Although I really like how they connected something as the time stone thing. Because of Strange, Wanda had to see Vision die twice. It's a great great connection. I hope, in the future, Marvel can do something similar to Wanda and Peter eventually.
