I think a couple details you are missing on the fights. 1. the up arrow is likely any charge attack. Notice in the skill menu, both the sword and bow charge attacks have the same up arrow. 2. With the lightning guy, I think you have to hit them with at least one sword strike to break their concentration, then you can zap them. That or might have to mix the two.

The up arrow is aerial attacks, basically hitting the enemy when they're off the ground. The charged hit does launch them into the air though.

he actually cant hit the lightning enemy with lightning attacks and would have to use a different magic attack (that he would unlock later) to break the block.

The one shard that you couldn't figure out how to get at around 36:16 you just have to walk towards it, it's shy

Oh I thought you had to use the dark character’s grapple and grab them while standing back. Whatever works at the end of the day I guess

Honestly I'm really pissed that wanderbot didn't stop yapping and just watch what's going on in the first few minutes. Like when blue and orange were fighting and the orange took over blue's core, blue becoming orange - he just completely missed it

My understand on why minimalistic games are more appealing is that realism is just a copy, prettier maybe sometimes, but still a copy of reality. And we don't play video games to see the real world. We want to see abstract ideas taking shapes, strange never-seen-before things. Realism can't do that, or rarely.

Why does every game of which I think "Oh, this could be something for me!" have turn-based combat 😢 I just don't like it. 😑 I know this is not your typical turn-based, at least you can move and press a button to directly attack (instead of choosing an attack that will then be executed in the next step), but still... Just not what I like

With having to block and parry, it doesn't really feel like turn-based combat. Feels a bit more like it's a fighting game, especially with some of the later fights.

@@merilynnshark6144 Yeah, I know. And I have already tried the game now. Like you said, it's not that kind of completely restricted turn-based, but still, it's of course nothing like a free fight where you can move when and how and where you want, which just happens to be more my taste
