Moga when the abyss is too hard: pulls out wanderer and floats away*

I have no regrets pulling for him. He's level 90 with 9/9/9 talents right now, plan to crown him. I already have four full teams that work in possibly every Abyss so I always use the same characters to get 36*, so damage is the last thing I am looking at when picking a new character to pull for. He's incredibly fun to play and without a shield, it's like hard mode, making it more challenging for myself lol. Shield for him is for comfortable playstyle like with any character who needs a shield. I think his flying is something to get use to, but I don't get knocked around anymore. Importnat thing is that after being hit while flying, press sprint as if to dodge, and he will immediately pick himself up, you don't have to wait for him to fall and recover by himself. Totally love him character wise, love the outfit and it literally feels like creative mode activated when playing him.

Scara being the only character that can attack mid-air, hes so fun

layla is a great alternate for zhongli here btw! nothing beats his 20% res decrease but layla still offers a comfortable shield, and consistent cryo application which is nice for occasional 20% crit

I just noticed that his constellation is a silhouette of himself with a hexagonal shape behind whereas Raiden's is herself with a circle behind her. Love that detail 😍

Cant belive after a year of Kazuha being my number one fav char. My second most hated charachter at first has a high chance of taking the number 1 spot. Everybody who wants him. I wish you get him.

He's actually really really good with 4 piece virdecent set! I recommend trying it. You can make him do really good damage mixed with them swirls

I managed to get scara's c1 and its a really nice qol change, it makes the damage loss of dashing a lot more manageable and makes running him without a shield more interesting

if you play scara with anemo resonance, rosaria passive, and a couple other move speed buffs, he flies very fast

Wanderer is the love of my life and is going to be my first triple crowned character, I already have my ayatos E crowned but no one is triple crowned as of rn

i have never played anyone even nearly as interesting and unique as him. absolute game changer, i got him accidentally at 10 pity, but im sooo happy!

8:25 He did take the pyro buff you can see it behind him on his circle when he flys. it will be the colors corresponding to the element on his back. he just didnt take the hydro buff

Actually those flying drakes can be knocked down by wanderer in his hovering state tho its kinda tricky to pull off cause for me its a 50/50 if his normals do hit the weak spots

Wanderer and Alhaitham have the best character design in the whole game imo. The lightblue + white palette on him is so damn pleasant to look at. He is also very fun, especially when you pull off a last second dodge + arrows. He has a uno reverse card as a passive

I'm so tempted to pull for him just cause of the fun and lore factors!!!! Also, can't wait to see what's your opinion about the tcg stuff hehe

I only pull for characters who's personalities/stories I really like on my main, but I pulled him on my alt because he looks fun and I got him at THIRTEEN PITY (last 5 star was venti)

As a day 1 wanderer haver, (skipped nahida and cyno for him) his second passive basically gives him extra damage and a free dodge which activates around 90% of the time if you do 2 normals into a charge or 3 normals into a charge, so you can basically dash before you see the buff symbol

Scaramouche is definitely one of the most unique characters, he feels good in open world but from a meta standpoint, he is pretty okay, mot worth f2p primogems if all u care about is meta

Moga, if u liked wanderer that much, i think u should try testing different artifacts sets with him, like 4pc wanderers spamming charge attack, 2pc shimenawa/echoes/glad/vermillion with 2pc vv, 4pc vv, 4pc his artifact set, 4 pc shimenawa and 4pc echoes. Think itd be a really good vid!

I love him and his playstyle so much. I have him on shimenawa cuz i have one (1) amazing set that i swap between him, yoimiya, and hutao, and it's good damage, just much less bursting. Especially if u use his skill for exploration

Just a tip but if you tap his alternate jump (when he's in floating mode) it will increase your height by a set amount. You can use this to your advantage to fly high even if you tap his alternate jump with 1 alternate stamina left. I imagine this also works for sprinting but I haven't tested it

i personally love diano, and she provides a shield for him. might be worth a try for the cryo swirl if you don't mind her :)

Also more scara tips, kaeya's icicles follows him so you might not hit everyone, xiangling's doesn't follow him vertically. Having a shielder other than zhongli or noelle like Thoma or layla allow him to infuse his skill with more consistency. Bennett better support for scara than a dedicated anemo support (faruzan) before her c6, funnily enough, and scara gets healed by benny while he floats

I saved a guaranteed for 6 months just to get him. He's incredibly fun and surprisingly strong, even though I threw random artifacts on him, which for whatever reason, gave him the best stats of any build on my account. Its been a long time since I had this much fun playing and he barely has any problems in abyss

Today I was doing a 10 pull just bcuz of the new patch and I got him with early pity and won the 50/50 I was so happy and I'll think I'll have fun building him

i wasnt originally planning on pulling for him (i want raiden) but after playing his trial i knew i needed him. spent around $50 so far and im on nearly 60 pity, and i have a 50/50 hoping i get him !

I got him, and boy. Is he so much fun to use!! My team consisted Kazuha (i haven't built Faruzan) Wanderer himself, Thoma and Benny. Ngl i really think they do fit together. I might try Xingqiu instead of Kazuha tomorrow, but we'll see

I just had a GREAT team idea for Scara: Him, Xinqiu or Yelan, Bennet and Fishl Since he can hold multiple elements at a time you just go Xinqui/Yelan burst, then Benny burst, Fishl E and just attack with Wanderer. (Idk if this is gonna turn out good but okay and also sorry if I spelled Xinqui not right :skull:) (Also if you didn’t understand this team plays off elemental reactions a lot, just causing a ton of reactions such as Superconduct or Electro charged)

I had very similar bad luck with his wishing. Around 210 total wishes and only managed C4 Faruzan, C0 Scara, and signature weapon. I wanted C1 for the attack speed but lost the 50/50 to Diluc. I spent over 25 resin in his domain and still not a good 4 piece so I also use Shimenawa. You could try this team in the future. Bennett, Yun Jin, Scaramouche, Faruzan. His autos can go up to around 55k and 61k charged which is crazy considering its every slash.

If you never noticed when you do a charged atk while flying he doesn't consume any of his special stamina

On ascension stats: Crit makes them easier to build. Elemental damage gives more damage overall with good artifacts.

I think he's cool. Won't be pulling since I currently don't need a new main dps to build, and I'm also waiting for Baizhu. His travelling team potentials are high though.

If you'd like to know, since Wanderer has a seperate bar for flying on his skill/E, he is able to do infinite charged attacks (as long as when the bar runs out) !!!

Solar Pearl is best if you arent using a hydro character paired with him. If you use pyro or cryo and solar pearl you gain so much crit rate you can just dump crit damage into him. You auto, then use skill, after 6 seconds your burst gains a damage bonus and you get 6 seconds of large normal attack values.

There's more DMG on his ult if you use it with your pyro buff naturally since it's an attack boost

I struggled this abyss but after getting him I was able to clear floor 3. 1st half: Zhongli, Raiden Shogun, nahida, Wanderer. 2nd half: Benett, Diluc, Kaeya, Xingqui. 1st half was tough obviously because no healer and the 1st chamber is rifthounds, so I was at 500 hp with my characters through floor 2 and 3, but It went pretty smoothly in the end.

I made a slight miscalculation on the talent mats so he is stuck 9-8-8 currently. And I forgot I don't have the leveling up crystals for his weapon so it stuck at lvl 79 while I'm asking blacksmiths to make some for me and I thought I prepared enough for him.

I am so glad I got him crowned everything and he does 20k on his CA by himself

I was going to like the video anyway, but that was certainly clever. Wanderer is still to come home, still farming and looking out for chests and stuff that gives primogems. I might buy a x10 if push comes to shove but Xmas is right around the corner.

I'm still really debating pulling for him or saving for raiden in the next patch. He looks so fun to play with. But I've been waiting for raiden ever since I started playing genshin last year

I tried him today & I think he’s extremely fun to play, I just love how he hits normal attacks from mid air & can move around at the same time, his skill is very useful, deals pretty high damage, his normal & charge attacks also causes reaction as he’s a catalyst user, morover he has crit rate in base stats…so I wonder why so many people are skipping him saying he’s not a great unit 🤔 I also done the same but now I’m thinking differently..

I hope I can get him, need like 25 pulls till the end of his banner. I have a welkin tho, that helps a lot.

wanderer is my highest dmg character, it used to be yoimiya with around 2,500 base atk, but this dude has 3,000 base atk, i love him, he will get crowned eventually but rn hes level 90 at 888 talents

I am so torn on him, I've done 46 wishes on his banner (now at 57 pity) to try for gorou cons but didn't get any and I was fine not getting an early 5 star, I did his trial and didn't immediately love him I would definitely use him like crazy in the overworld but idk if it's worth it just for that. I've been saving for alhaitham, yelan and eula and I won my last 2 50/50s very early so I have a strong feeling I will lose this one anyway (hoping for tighnari) but idek if I will like alhaitham, I'm hoping to see some droplets of his kit before the end pf scaras banner to see, another dendro character would be nice and I already have 2 selfish dps characters (cyno and itto) so I don't need another one but he looks so fun for over world and I like non burst dependent characters for overworld, ughhhh the struggle

A weird thing I found out about Wanderer.... if you're using him in Co-Op, Kagura's Verity might be an okay weapon for him. His skill is actually on a short enough cooldown he can get the three stacks from it's passive, although in a normal rotation, I wouldn't recommend it as anything other than the stats, and even then there's better fits. While he can get the three Kagura's Verity stacks, it means keeping him on field for a very long time, making it not ideal, but I thought it was a little fun that he actually can.

I still dont know if I will pursue on getting him or save for Alhaitham(his gameplay is kinda like Keqing so I also want to get him)
