Wow. And I thought some of your hikes were poorly prepared. I don't think I've ever seen something so ill advised and with a total lack of planning. LOVED IT MATE! As someone who, as a child, got lost on Snowden in a pair of shorts and a plastic mac in March with just a pocket of cheese and crackers to sustain me, I'm not sure what I'd have done differently on your potholing expedition. Probably would've taken a four year old and a teary teenager with me. Oh, and one of us would've lost a flip flop... Nicely done mate, keep it up!

Just been thinking. What you need is a pair of kitchen scissors. Then you cut tops of pakets no risk of scattering contents when you rip packets open. But more importantly you can cut your chicken straight from bag into pan so it's not going to touch your chopping board. Take care keep safe xx

Impressed you got as far as the Bear Pit in Giants Hole. Good footwear and a helmet recommended. I use to take groups of kids down there so know it well.

What an amazing adventure going into that cave like that a 20 Min walk is a long way under ground alone that took some nerve. I've done some cave explores in Yorkshire not far from the camp you had just down from the Ribble head viaduct and it gets pretty scary to say the least. The cave I was in was just one long passage that went on forever never did get to the end. I bet you was glad to see day light on the way back I know I was. Most of all stay safe and stealthy.

think you should of left some markers in the cave .or some wall scratchings,.in order to prevent getting lost (extra batteries and a full charged phone)i guess that's how you roll.Great fun.

cannot believe you didn't take a ball of string or a loaf of bread to make a trail down the mine...and you didn't get proper lost!😂 My uncle used to take school groups down some of the Blue John mines and caves. He took us along once 'when I wor a lass'. We had to crawl into the hole. I didn't get far before cacking my pants and coming back out... been claustrophobic ever since!! Thanks for sharing 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
