Just got one. Another cool thing is it has separate gain controls for the mic/guitar inputs, they're under the rubber covers. Pretty cool, I'm sure that's appreciated by the musicians out there.

Bought this based on your recommendation. I've been at a variety of events where their el crappo system have died almost immediately and I'm hoping to have a mobile solution with me. The events that we'd be pushing this for are a room of 20 or less, and last two hours or less. This should provide some great action for what we need. Thanks and SUBBED!

Do you suggest using this while connected to its charger? This is known to have issues with its battery, but the sound quality has no problem at all..

Yeah this speaker is loud only down fault is the better life but if you keep it plugged in have no problems and it’s a bit louder plugged in as well

Hi, I am looking for a blue tooth speaker that sounds close to the JVC boombox I had in 1990 accept, I don't want a speaker as big as a JVC boombox. I figure, we don't need cassette player, CD player, record player, so why do we need a speaker that's the size of a great big beast? I'm looking for a speaker with a lot of power, a lot of base, base booster, an a fully functioning EQ, and, one that's not the size of a great big beast. Do you have any recomendations? The biggest size I'd want is the size of the Aiwa Exos-9, only water resistant, more base, and a EQ.

I will say the UE Hyperboom is the best party type speaker out and has great bass for the size like real good bass. The height is about 14inchs give or take and It has a handle. I think you will get you bang for your buck. it is always IPX4 splash proof and good battery life amzn.to/3izMF19

What the different between this on the go and party box 100? Which one is better for indoor using? Thanks

so with the party box 100 you will get two woofers instead of one. so more powerful bass and low end. you will get better life with the party box 100 if you take it outside and it will pump out more volume. But with this speaker on the go. it is splash proof ipx4, and comes with a wireless mic. the volume and bass might not be as loud as the 100 but will be more space friendly in your house because of the smaller size. It's a great speaker my only issue was the battery life, since you are using in the house you will be fine.

It only came with one so just what I know from that one. I'm guessing for the 2nd its the same via Bluetooth but on a different channel. the mics had signal channels on them

I think it only connects to another On-The-Go because their is no app support in the the JBL Connect app from what I seen

I will say the JBL the sound quality is better right now. Dolphin has been getting better and better with each speaker but if you want that better sound quality it will be JBL right now

I just bought this for my wife for her birthday. I was completely surprised by the power of the music. The battery life might have something to do with this being an actual ported subwoofer rather than small drivers + radiators.

can you use it while charging? im a indoor person so i mostly will use indoor, so if i can use it while plug in the charger the short battery life is not a big deal, if it wont damage it using while charger plug in. I like the idea to do karaoke at home, youtube have these karaoke versions of almost all songs i know.., i have sony speaker that have mic input in it but when i play karaoke music on youtube the music over power my voice i cant here my voice clearly i sound so far away and the music is so forward on the speaker while singing, i tried to fix the settings but it didnt fix the issues. if i turn the volume down of the speaker it also turn down the volume of the mic, i hope that mic volume and bluetooth speaker volume are separate on jbl party on the go,

yes you can use while charging. And the mic has its own volume knob if you want to put your voice over the music more you will be able to do so.

this speaker has good bass and sound great just bad battery life. If you can find a UE hyperboom I would choose that over a lot of speakers also.

I watch your video carefully and you say the maximum life battery is 6 hours (good) if you have everything off i suppose if test it only with AUX INPUT OR BLUETOOTH MODE AND 100% VOLUME WITHOUT TO GIVE BASS TREBLE OR ECHO i gonna have 6 hours to enjoy music outside i understand right???

Need a solid party speaker for a small wedding in a 35’x48’ back yard. Saw this speaker online for a pretty great price. Watched your wonderful review and I believe I’m sold, would you recommend this for a small backyard wedding?

Yes I’d you can have it plugged in you will be good to go. Depending on your budget check out the soundbox Gen 2 for $699 and Gen 3 for $999 (I reviewed) used it for my fight party and everyone kept asking about it the speaker because the sound was so good throughout the half acre backyard 👍

Yea the power on this speaker is really really bad bud. I sent mine back few days after my review because of the battery life. If you have the extra money get the UE hyperboom you will not be disappointed at all

Would this work for small wedding ceremonies around 50 people. As a wedding officiant people request a speaker especially when I am on the beach. Dont need extremely loud just enough for everyone to hear clearly. Would this work nicely? Can you connect other wireless mics to it ?

Yes I think this will work for a small wedding. Just came from one 3 days ago and I think the speaker would have worked. Also check Bose S1 if in your budget

@@WannaBuyIt I went with the on the go jbl. Was more within my budget and glad I did! Its perfect(powerful and clear sound) for small to medium size weddings(yet to try it with a large wedding). I can play wedding music while I officiate ceremonies. I was able to get it for 200 no mic included but already had a mic and worked perfectly! Despite the low battery life , I really only need it to be on for no more than 3 hours. Thanks for the help again. Added bonus I love karaoke!

hahaha no no I'm not but my wife is from Cebu and I just been learning more and more about her culture. until I can finally go visit Cebu with her some time this year. I just started listening to Pinoy rap my wife didn't even listen to it before I had to put her on haha and I love Pinoy rap I think it's really good artist like Because, Al James, Xaje, Acdmnd$, Kntmnl and of course manila grey. They all got some fire bangers and I can't wait to see what this Cebu life is all about when I go out their I'm pretty excited bud. I been watching Cebu vlogs and street food videos like everyday hahaha
