I just read a bunch of the comments. I am glad I am not the only one that is crazy in love with this ancient technology. Long live Amiga. I don't expect that he has any cards left, but I am writing him tonight.

Don’t learn at all. Have a second Vampire V4 Standalone. Why i don’t known maybe it was dirt cheap. Strange that my TF1260 is still great with the Rev6 CPU on it. Use it only for 68060 Demos on 50MHz. Can go to 100MHz but it go very hot and freeze. Would like to buy a AMiGA 3000 or 4000. But don’t have the space for it. Hope that the black A500 case anx keycaps come out from A1200NET. And there’s something special coming for the Vampire V4 Standalone. Like your videos alot. You do great things for the AMIGA community.

Great video and it's great that this is offered with this special deal here in the states instead of Eurozone Unobtanium, or secret club releases on a forum. We will soon be spoiled for choice when it comes to the A4k with TF 060, 060 Hertel card, and V4 Kraken on the way.

Matze just posted on a1k that he's working on a "piggy back" board for the BFG9060 that generates an EXT cycle--good news for 16 Mhz A3000 owners (among others)! Not sure how it will physically fit/connect on the BFG9060, but I'm sure more details will follow soon.

Chris, I think you just confirmed my suspicion about why WhichAmiga keeps crashing--like you said, it's not RTG-friendly. I've forwarded your note to Wrangler on a1k, who is in the process of trying to fix WhichAmiga's crashes (among updates to it as well). Thank you!! Nice video, as always! Bit surprised the stock rev6 50Mhz speed was that hot at 90+? Those are supposed to run reasonably cool… And at twice the speed, it’s cooler?! Would have been nice to see what kind of fan/thermal pad you used to keep the temp so low - obviously doing a good job. Ordered mine from Amibay, on its way. Can’t wait! (A3000d)

Another informative video the Chris twins 😂 The gotta….the 256MB Z3 card. Do you know if this is better or the same as Jens Icomp BigRAM+ 256MB card in terms of RAM performance? So far it’s cheaper than the Icomp offering. I currently have a BigRAM+ running with a X-surf100 and a PicassoIV RTG in my Cyberstorm PPC/060 A4KD setup.

Wow, Chris the hardware pusher! Good recommendations but if the BFG9060 is too fast for the A4000T SCSI to function when at 100Mhz that IS a big issue! Sad.

I can only dream of ever owning an A3k or A4k working or otherwise.

Nice to finally see a 3000/4000 CPU Slot accelerator with on-board RAM.... something that Commodore never did heh! I built that 68060 accelerator card with a LC68060RC66 a few weeks ago. The LC060 was re-purposed from an old A3640 with an 060 adapter I built. I shelved it many years ago because it's not very good and compatibility is sketchy at best. For the BFG9060 yeah it's cool and all that but I've yet to find an actual real-world use for it. The 68060 is not very compatible with software and for most of the Amiga games forget it. The RAM is erm, interesting. Games don't need any more than 1 or 2 MB. The 060 is one of those things that everyone wants then when you finally have it you wondered why you bought it hehe! Maybe the next thing will be a drop-in CPU board using a Pi4 or whatever that will replace the hellishly expensive (and often faked/rebadged) 060 chip with something that runs 100X faster for a tenth of the price. Even so I still have no idea what it would be used for ;-)

Please stop using sysinfo for 68060 mips measurement. It can’t utilize the second Alu in those cpus (the earlier versions identify the 060 as a 040, only the latest can identify it as a 060 but the Mips test is still for single Alu cpu so it can’t give you proper readings). Motorola datasheet gives 80 mips average for a stock 50 mhz 060 (proper Mips tests are doing very close to that number on Amiga too). Also the original Blizzard 1260 cards was sold as 80mips performance cards. (Stock 50mhz). Since the 060 needs less than 1 cycle for an averaged integer command its mips reading can’t be lower than 50, it is just simple math. :) The sysinfo is a really cool utility, I love it and I use it for measurements for everything up to 68040. But not for my 060 beasts :). Anyway, nice big box miggy you have, congrats, and also the video is very informative, please take my opinion just as is.. But there are a bunch of people in forums saying “The 060 not worth at al the money since on 40 mhz it would be slower than my 04/40.” And all those crappy posts are based on such sysinfo readings they see in videos.

Damn that thing runs faster then my 2016 emulated machine, I didn't think that was possible. I thought emulation always beats out.

Amiga 1200/4000 users should do the s-video output mod. If I remember correctly, you only need around 4 components.

Nice card but last time I checked the price for a full 060 rev6, it was like 450-500$. Add that to the price of the card and you're good for some big money. I will of course love to have one of these but I don't watch demos all day long, and for normal use in 2022 (modules, WHDLoad, and maybe some protracker/deluxe paint fun), it is just not worth the price imho. In 1995/96, it would have been super nice to have a very fast amiga to use with super fast browsing files, etc, but right now, I kind of have mixed feelings. Just my opinion.
