I have something to add, make sure your camera, vtx, and gps wires are as isolated as possible from everything else, so don’t run them across the top of your FC, motor wires, RX wires, or battery wires. If you do a good job, your video will be optimal, if not you may get some interference. Check your video feed before installing the top plate, in case you need to wiggle a wire over another millimeter or two. Also make sure all solder points are solidly connected.

Flux is extremely underrated and unfortunately it's taken me nearly a decade to actually find that out. lol Excellent channel! highly under rated!

I had a quad that would hover until I applied even a tiny increase of throttle and then it would go to the moon. Disarming was the only solution. Blackbox logs showed massive vibration on yaw but I could not find the cause. I swapped the stack and even that did not help. All the screws were tight. Turned out to be a snapped front standoff inside the TPU camera mount! Good video.

Flux is literally the key to good solder joints. use it and use it liberally. It will take you from soldering zero to soldering hero in about 2 seconds per joint!

I'd add, use quality solder. Not the lead free crap. Since you cannot trust Kester online, go MG Chemicals, "63/36 No Clean" and the thinnest solder wire you can find. Same with desoldering wick, noclean and MG Chemicals. For most electronics. Hope this helps someone. Instead of twisting wires, I rather use heatshrink rings and have parralel wires. Also, use good tools; buy a crimp tool and make your custom JST cables. Oh, use a ruler? A pen, a paper and a calculator? Take your fucking time, it's a flying machine, have some pride in your work.
