Sometimes we ask ourselves what other people think about our English, and that question holds us back. That produces insecurities, and that’s pointless. We should not give importance to those insecurities that we have buzzing around our brains. Don’t be too hard on yourself.

Hey guys, All I want to say is THANK YOU A TON!, why? Because my English skills have pulish up in a extreme way. All advices she mentioned I did it. I was afraid of making mistakes, I was forcing my brain and even I didn't rest enough and as a result I started feeling stuck. Now I enjoy learning English with the best English teachers, without getting bored, without missing the jokes and so on. I highly recommend listening to podcast, you will laugh and learn. I just want to say that this time is a great time for everyone who wanted to learn another language, especially english, because the sources, tools and teachers can be found anywhere anytime... I remember when I started learning english 15 years ago, the only tool I could get was just a book, no internet at all. My english had never been improved through those times learning so that I gave up with no capabilty of speaking and understanding of what everyone's talking in english... in 2019 I decided to learn again but this time with a new way of learning with bunch of supports like youtube and google.. now I can read many books in english, understand what people saying in english and brave enough to speak to someone in english.. I know my grammar is still far from perfect, but since no one doesn't care about it as long as they understand what I'm saying... it give me kind of a motivation or boost to learn more and fix what that needs to be fixed...

It’s weird when you listen to those podcasts and know each of the teachers by just hearing them. This one wasn’t an exception. Thanks guys. Keep up the great work.

Shadowing is a really good approach ) I try to shadow every day at least 3-4 hours and now I feel that it's a lot easier for me to speak, plus I increase my vocabulary and my English becomes more natural. So when you learn a new language it is very important to speak every day nonstop, if you do it, your speaking is bound to improve. Anna reminds me of me a little bit because I am also afraid to skip even one day of learning ..

Since the time I could read and understand English, I've rarely read books in my native language. Actually 99% of the books about my profession and for new knowledge I've read are in English 😄. In other words, I had learned English first before I started learning everything else 🙂.

The main problem of your app is that when i tried to use it there were a lot of Indians I don't mean I have something against them but it was literally every 9 of 10 people. And I really wanted to try to talk to someone who is from around the world like French, Germany, China, Japan etc...

Fun fact: I'm stuck at the b2 level but this is not the point... Ive been learning English mostly passively for 5 years.. at the beginning everybody around me was like "if you don't need English for work reasons what's the point of learning it... You'll never been able to learn it... You're too old... You don't need it..." Then I had my daughter and even though my English sucks I've been teaching her it since she was 2. Now she's 4 and she kinda speaks English, she's not perfect but she's a sponge and learns in no time... When we are in public situations she tends to speak in English with me and when people turn their heads to us they wonder if I'm a foreigner or if I studied English in school even though as I said before my English sucks!!! I'm Italian and apart from city where you can find university students who can get by an easy conversation in English and foreigners, anywhere else nobody speaks English so my little English sounds like a lot.... Now my kid goes to a kindergarten where her teacher is a native English speaker so it's a huge help in our dream to use English in our everyday life!!
