I've been waiting for your Jane Iredale video & loved it! Application is quite different than other mineral based brands. Their pure pressed & loose mineral foundations & eyeshadows are applied making downward strokes with the brush vs circular or buffing or tapping. It makes a huge difference and is even more gorgeous & skin like. It has to do with the way their minerals lay. My favorite Jane Iredale products are the Pure pressed foundation & their pure pressed eye shadows. I've been a fan of Jane Iredale for years. xo Patti P.s. Sounds like I'm more of a groupie! But it's the only brand I'm willing to pay more for. Otherwise it's drugstore brands for me!

I got some of that dye that men use for their beards & moustaches. It’s the kind that mixes 2 parts together. I think it’s lasted for nearly 10 years so far. I originally got it because I was getting grays in my eyebrows - but the bonus was it also dyed my light blonde hairs so it looks like I have more eyebrow hair!

Hello there - I'm a 51 y/o plus sized, married x 25 yrs, mother of one - a soon to be 20 y/o and who works as a medical stenographer. I am a makeup junkie - there are so many of us, LOL. I also like all the girly things, sparkle and shine, bling, and purses. Love your channel & love your latest look!! You're always such a classy looking & beautiful lady! 💜 I just turned 65 & still struggle with an oily T zone & I'm always looking for all the help & suggestions of good inexpensive products to help stave off the signs of aging. I live in North Carolina, USA & am always looking for suggestions on dealing with humidity and still keeping my skin hydrated all at the same time. The warmer months are moving in quickly and it's always a challenge when your skin wants to behave like you're a teenager again. Ugh...

I definitely understand the humidity living in Alabama. For that I recommend a good setting spray. I love the one by Skindinavia - the bridal spray for real heat. But if that isn't in the budget get the Milani or Elf. I'd rather go cheap on the makeup than cheap on the setting spray because there is a big difference in them. Makeup won't budge and you won't melt every time you head outside. You want to spray your T- zone with the setting spray and allow it to dry. Apply makeup over. Allow it to dry. Mist the whole face with setting spray and allow to dry. For inexpensive makeup I would try the the Maybelline dream BB cream with spf 30. Its got a light coverage, a little blurring and skin perfecting, and it will hold in your moisture better.

I have some morphe brushes like that. After washing them a few times, they seem to shed and not hold their shape. One by one, they are getting decluttered. My Colourpop brushes are my mainstay now. Great look. ❤❤

Southern California, awaiting our famous Santa Ana winds due in tonight and for the next couple of days. I've learned a whole different way to do my makeup, and which products NOT to use, when winds are predicted. My eyes water incessantly, and my nose drips, so foundation, concealer, mascara and especially eyeliner have to be tough as nails. Jane Iredale's mineral powder foundation is especially nice on these days, and her powder eyeshadows make nice eyeliners over a clear lip liner or the Elf clear brow crayon. I can't use any waterproof eye makeup due to ocular rosacea, so I'm always looking for alternatives. I love that burgundy mascara on you; unfortunately the only L'Oreal Voluminous mascara I've used that doesn't look scary with my watery eyes is the Carbon Black, which I love. I've tried the green, brown and blue-purple ones before, but they give fright mask! Love the look, thanks for the specifics about concealer application!

You can try an oil control primer, I love the one by Skindinavia, but there are plenty of others on the market too. If you get the Skindinavia you want to spray the oily parts of your face as soon as your skincare soaks in- that way it can begin to control the oils on your skin before they start to hit the makeup. Also, if you aren't already you can use oil control skincare as well. Double whammy!

Yes I’m the one who will try it if someone said buy it yet I probably wouldn’t buy it. Lol . My biggest issue is I still get the sweats pretty fiercely so putting on makeup is useless no matter what I do. Not much I can do😢. Your skin always looks so healthy.

You need the Skindinavia Bridal setting spray, that's what I use during the hot Alabama summers. I would prep with their primer, do makeup, then spray it all down with bridal setting spray. Thank you so much. I have been working on my skin for a couple of years now, I think the main things for me have been exfoliating, gentle cleansing, sunscreen and a hat everywhere! I don't do anything at the doctors office but I have started using a new device that Evens skintone and builds collagen. I'm convinced it's working too. Can't spill the beans about it for a couple of weeks but I'll be doing a video soon on skincare❤️💋

Can you try before you buy at Ulta? I have some foundations that I purchased and they are just not for me. I would hate to buy another one without trying it first. Didn't you like the Fiera foundation? I hope I spelled that right. I thought I had seen the foundation on Amazon before but all I find now is the concealer. I stopped wearing makeup for about 20 years and now what I used to use just won't do. I used to just get any liquid foundation and it looked fine....not now. My face has changed so much from my 30's and 40's to my upper 60's!! I'm having trouble finding something that works and won't settle into the wrinkles and fine lines and textures that I didn't have before. 🙄🥺😱😣😩😫🤷‍♀️

They have products that you can try at Ulta. Keep in mind, if you don't try it on your face (but instead your hand or something) it won't look or act the same. I did like the Fiera, it is called a concealer but it can be used as foundation as well. They don't have a foundation. The concealer works very nicely on mature skin but you will still need proper skin prep to make it look good. @@CamilleCowher This morning I tried the new-ish Maybelline product with the little spheres in it and it looked better than a lot of things I have tried. It really didn't cover some of the sun spots I have but I can try concealer on that part first the next time I try it. .I have some Fiera ordered, it should come today. I remember reading about how you have to warm it up to make better. Now I need something to help my undereye area. I wish I could come down there and meet you and let you put makeup on me. I know you could help me. I am serious !! I ordered some of that Catrice that you used back last year and it looked great on the back of my hand, just not on my face and when I tried to wash it off my hand, soap and water wouldn't take it off !! I had to use a balm to take it off so I know it would wear well for 24 hours or more ! I watch another lady who also lives in North Alabama and she likes it so I may send it to her.

I'm so sorry you are having a hard time. I would look at the Jane Iredale brand. They make quality makeup without a lot of icky things that are bad for the skin.
