I came to Jesus in a similar way. When I was about 10 like a bolt of lightning it hit me that I was going to die, that everyone I knew, my Mom, my, dad were all going to die and I had such a terrifying fear grip me it lasted for weeks. as time went on I forgot about it until about 13 when once again out of the blue the thought of death and dieing came back only this time I knew about hell and I my head was filled with the terror of knowing I'm going to die and go to hell.. I spiralled into a deep depression filled with fear and torment. I was literally living in hell in Earth. The Jehovah's had left a Bible at our home so I began to read it, the threats of hell were terrifying but I clung to the promise the Jesus would save me, Slowly I got better and excepted Him as my Lord as Saviour. I'd love to say I've been a "Good Christian" in spite of all He's done for me, but I haven't. I ended up in a gay relationship for 19 years knowing that it was wrong, so I would pay... Dear God, I don't have the heart to hurt this person I'm with and can't leave, but please, please help me get out of our. My Dad passed away in 2007 and my "partner" got arrested less than two months later. Now my Mom is disabled and can't live alone so in my heart I have no doubt this was God seeing me free. I still struggle with sin and I'm feeling very convicted today.. I want to follow my Lord and Love Him and obey Him, but every single day I fail.. So I still have to cling to the promise that He will keep His Word and save me. Thanks for reading this whom ever may have, and if you feel lead please pray for me to walk the straight and narrow. I want to go home.. my whole life has been filled with depressions, anxieties, fear, and I just want to do what God has for me to do and go home where I never have to worry again that I'm going to hell, or the shame I'm going to feel the day my knew bows to Jesus and my life's work is reveled.. Dearest Rick! Praise God Brother. Both Peter and Paul had daily trials and they persevered. We have every morning to thank God for His Mercies, which are new every morning! King David prayed that ... +Rick Howard there are answers for you. First of all, I note that you were very young when all this first happened and you say nothing of having others around you to support you in your choice or that you attended church. Since you had little training and now that you are older, I recommend that you pray again, this time confessing sin and accepting Jesus not just as Savour but also as Lord. Sometimes when people accept Christ, there is more of a head knowledge of their spiritual need ..... Followed by a commitment that is just a mental assent to Christ's offer to be their Savour. And sometimes we do not confess our sin to Him, either due to ignorance of the need to do it or because secretly we want to hold onto certain things that we are afraid He will not approve of. In addition to accepting Him as Savour, we need to accept Him as Lord. This means that we accept His right to direct our life and we live to please Him. It can be hard to know how to please Him unless we learn by reading the Bible. Reading it regularly, even daily, is important. There are new versions and bible study tools now that are readily available to help. You mentioned that a Jehovahs Witness left the Bible at your house. That religious group is not recognized by Christian denominations as being a legitimate Christian church due to non-biblical beliefs that they have added to their religion. You may go to a local Bible store or do some research online and find another Bible. You can learn about different Bible versions with Bible apps, too. Don't be afraid to do what is right. Jesus said that no one who loses something on His behalf will fail to be repaid. Simply put, this means that Jesus will take care of you, though things may still be hard at times, and His rewards for following Him are many. Seek counseling for your concerns at a local church. Look for a church to join--one with Bible study or good preaching and teaching. So, first, pray to the Lord. Ask him to forgive your weakness and all sin and wrongdoing. Sin is an old English word that was borrowed from archery. A sin in archery means that someone missed the mark. Sin as the Bible uses it means we miss Gods mark. His mark for us is one of purity--purity in any and all areas of our lives. As we all know, no human is completely pure. Everyday in the media we see images of war and violence. It's obvious that evil lurks in the hearts of men. Confess your sins to Him and repent of them. To repent means that you feel sorrow over your sins and desire to turn away from them. Tell Him that you receive Him as Lord as well as Savour and ask Him to lead you. When you pray, ask Him to live inside of you and ask the Holy Spirit to make you clean and come and live in you, too. Ask Him to lead you to the right church and even for a Bible that speaks truth. He is capable of taking care of those who are His own. Trust Him to do that for you because He wants to do it for you more than you want Him to. No matter how small or dirty we feel, He is willing to accept us. He is gentle with those who cling to Him. I will be praying for you. The lord be with you.

+Angie M Thanks you for sharing Angie. I just left the hospital after a week's stay and lately I've felt really depressed again... I'm going to see a shrink(again) and help get my thoughts straight. I do love Jesus and I'm so grateful He called such a wretched person as myself... bless God, God bless you as well.

I learned about Jesus since birth. I am a Samoan, living in Pacific and what a Great upbringing we had. In 1830, Missionaries came to our Islands and preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I realised that we are all Abraham's Children, who God promised to him, as in the Torah! Thank you God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. You are revealed to my life since being created in my mother's womb. Glory to your Name God of Israel (the Whole World) as promised to Abraham, and prophets. Halleluiah.

when I was 13 I was so confused... there were Religions telling me that Jesus is not a God and He was just a man. And some told me that Jesus is a son of God and 2nd in the Godhead and somewhere, someone, I don't remember but told me that Jesus was the God Himself who came in the flesh to die for our sin.. I was sooo confused I don't know what to believed. I was alone in my room and didn't realized that my tears were falling,.. I was crying because of confusion and I just prayed to God and I told Him.. Lord let me know the truth.. Let me know you.. then suddenly I felt very comforted.. my tears stopped... it just felt so good.. after that time I begun to study the bible.. I can't explain it but Jesus revealed Himself to me :) I'm 18 now and I can still remember my first personal encounter with Jesus when I was 13 and I can't deny Him to myself and i know I should not deny him 💜💜💜 #JustWantToShare

I also had a similar experience with out the smoke,what he and I experienced was a unclean spirit, I had my experience 30 years ago at age 22 during a 3 day fast , the unclean spirit entered my room through the top of a closed door,and asked me to worship it,I said it is written I only worship the Lord my God. I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at age 9 year 1976 spoke in tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance for forty-five minutes. I was also immersed, baptize (Mikvah ) in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins. In 2010 I was baptized again in the name of Yahshua for a clear conscience with God. If you read the bible you will find,that all water baptism were in the singular name of Yahshua Messiah, The titles baptism Father Son Holy Spirit was introduced in the third century when the doctrine of the Mystery Trinity was adopted and radified by the Pontficus Maximus Emperor Constantine (Nicea 325) All accounts of water baptism in scripture were in the singular name of Yahshua :Acts2:38,8:16,10:48,19:5,22:16. The only verse of Scripture that anyone could appeal to in support of a threefold baptismal formula is Matthew 28 : 19 In which Yahshua commanded baptism "in the name of the Father, and of the Son,and of the Holy Spirit The word name in the verse is singular, indicating that the phrase describes one supreme name by which the one God is revealed, not three names of three distinct persons. There is only one God Dueteronomy 6:4 (Semah) and he has one supreme name Zechariah 14:9. and the Lord shall be King over all the earth, in that day shall be there one Lord,and his name one.Yashua is the Incarnation by which the Father is revealed to us. Having dealt with depression and dread my entire adult life knowing Jesus has kept me going yet another day. He is the reason I am still here. I wish I could say I am full of joy every day but many days are still filled with depression, yet there is always that still small voice that says I am with you John and will keep you to the end. Adversity builds character and gratitude that money and success cannot buy. Look to the future hope that has been promised to us all that believe.

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as my Lord. The reality of life is we invite a lot of pressures of living today, I've lost a lot of people in my life to suicide and it's heartbreaking for us left behind,wether it's pier pressure, money worries or the stresses of raising a family remember this, every problem in life is temporary no matter how mountainous it seems, money,houses,cars there all just items,replaceable. Relationships can be rebuilt with love and time,live simply don't overstretch, take care of you first because if you don't you can't take care of those around you and if needs be get help and don't wait ,god has a plan for us all today's world is chaotic, be kind,live simply help who you can and try find happiness in who you are let the worldly thing take care of themselves

Jesus gets all the glory for saving anyone and as such He will not save anyone who is trusting partially in their good works and partially in Him. He paid for all the sins of all the world (past, present, and future,) that payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. When you have believed you have repented unto life. To have Everlasting life you must admit that you are a hopelessly lost sinner and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before and trust Jesus Christ as your only hope of getting to Heaven. You are trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.

Wonderful testimony. I find his statement that he thought of Jesus as a mythical figure to be a most profound statement, knowing that the Trinity dogma was a Greco-Roman invention philosophy of Plato's ( Logo's ) Word. Romans 3 : 1-2 Saul aka Apostle Paul ask a rhetorical question " what advantage does the Jew have?" chiefly the oracles ( word ) logo's of Yah were committed to Isreal. Logo's is not a separate person from God . John1:1 explains :"In the beginning was the word(Logo's ) The word was with God and the (Word was God ) And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Yahshua birthday was on the spring feast of Tabernacle, Sukkot. Not December 25th that's the birthday of the triune God little baby tammuz, Mithra the reincarnated sun god.In fact Genesis 10 : 9 King Nimrod and the Queen of Heaven Istar (easter) and little baby Tammuz. I have a question for Trinitarian "if Yahshua pre-existed as the eternal son before his conception." Who was his mother in Heaven? The bible never refers to Yahshua as the eternal son! The bible says Jesus is the son of the eternal God Born in the fullness of time born of a woman born under the law of Moses. We have the entire bible, we are very blessed to have it. Therefore we have no excuse to follow Catholic mystery religion. Timothy 3 : 16 Paul says great is the Mystery of Godliness, God was manifested in flesh. Mystery solved!

Collosians 1:15-17 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and one earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through Him and for Him. He existed before anything else and holds all creation together. NLT Proverbs 30: 4 Who but God goes up to heaven and comes back down? Who hokda the wind in his fists? Who wraps up the oceans in a cloak? Who has created the whole wide world? What is His name - and his Son's name if you know! NLT

The triune formula for water baptism was a much later development who's origin can be traced back to the councel Nicea 325ad under Pontificate Maximum Emperor Constantine (Latin for the greatest Priest) The trinity dogma took another couple hundred years to fully develop. Biblical definition of the Son of God (Luke 1:35)" Gabriel said to Mary the Holy Ghost shall come upon thee , and the power of the highest shall overshadow thee, therefore also the holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the son of God" Jesus is the Son of God because God caused his conception not Joseph or any other earthly man.
