“If people come together like these apes did “? The apes betrayed each other and killed each other. They actually acted a lot like humans do. In the end, the person who sacrificed the most to try to gain something good for apes is killed for his efforts. It’s actually a story that’s been repeated throughout human history as well. Many many times. It’s a great story though. You definitely get emotionally invested.

Notice Nova lost her speech but she still retained higher brain function how else did she learn/understand sign. Nova's caretaker (dad?) was still able to talk and presumable he was around her when she was sick (soldiers deserted into woods) So taking this information, it's why when the colonel ops to have ceasar kill him it's bc he realized he still had his higher brain function and he had killed his son and all those men in vain (vain of stopping the spread but also his son was truly pleading with his dad not to kill him) He just couldn't verbally speak. And when you're freaking out course you'll look primitive when you physically cant say anything. Colonel even said when i looked into his eyes, in his primitive gaze i felt love. Truly ironic and sad. Also the nova emblem is a nod to the OG film where taylor names the female human Nova.

Nova, Cornelius, the humans not being able to speak, and the Alpha and Omega symbols is all a shout out to the original movies. Nova was Taylor's girlfriend who couldn't speak, nor could the other humans. Cornelius was one of the good apes who helped Taylor(played by Charlton Huston). The Alpha and Omega symbols on the soldiers and traitor apes are from the sequel, which had an atom bomb 💣 with the same symbols.

What I’ve always found interesting is that the colonial’s death is very ironic in nature. He killed his son for the simple fact that he was becoming “primitive” due to the virus and yet, he becomes the very thing he sworn to destroy. Caesar had every right to still kill him right then and there but decided he didn’t want to end it that way. I know that some part were kind of unsatisfied with that but I honestly think it’s rather brilliant. The colonial ended up living long enough to become the villain and died being afraid of becoming “primitive.” That… is good story telling in my book. And the ending almost always gets me emotional. Such a bittersweet ending.

Hi, hope you are well? Just wanted to say a big thankyou for watching the entire reboot trilogy Rise, Dawn and War starring Andy Serkis as Caesar. Like i’ve said previously this trilogy are masterpieces and it’s hard to understand why they are so criminally unappreciated and underrated. I adore them and Caesar and the new one Kingdom is up there along side this trilogy. It’s a great film too and i love the protagonist Noa he has a lot of potential so i hope we get to see him again . Kingdom is set 300 years after this film War and is released digitally on 5th July 2024. This is the only movie that still makes me cry who knew a character like Caesar could bring all these emotions to the surface. This is a film that divided some people because they thought the title was bogus and should have been a full on war movie. My take is that the War is within Caesar he’s torn between being the Caesar we know and love and bring like Koba and full of hate and revenge. Bad Ape is great comic relief in what is a very dark film. R.I.P. Buck & Bright Eyes (Rise), Ash, and the other apes Koba got killed at the human city, Koba (Dawn), Caesar, Blue Eyes, Cornelia , Winter, Red (Gorilla donkey) and Lukka (War) You will all be missed😭🤧💔❤️ Take care 😘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 #ApesTogetherStrong ❤️ #CaesarNeverForgotten❤️💔😭🤧 ❤️ #TeamNoa (Kingdom) ❤️
