@@kriegertechpriest7011 Good eye😉 I did put the size of the scale up a little bit. This tripod had over million hit points. Was never gonna go down. Basically the uber pods that we see in the hill scene had thicker legs and bigger body. Going by the 2005 movie the 83rd got wipe out. Spewing couldn't found a reporter van to use in this but😓

@@tow3lie773 It was funny to see later that the Russians managed to draw the Tripods into an entrenched fight using buildings as cover, mostly wiping out the Tripods in exchange for heavy losses. Sadly, such outcomes are likely the outcome of such unfair technological battles.

@@jakzine540 Good view on the russain battle too. What i was going for👍Buildings as cover and setup kill boxes for the tripods That's so true. Any technology advanced race would just dominated the lower species. But in masses they have a fighting chance. WWII Germans had the most advanced tanks but Americans always make sure to out number 4 to 1 to make sure they would have a fighting chance to win but alot poor souls payed the price. Why U.S never went to advanced tanks rather pump out numbers keep them simple to make and cheaper. Bomb the shit out of German factory's help too😅 History has alot of examples. One day we will be the Red Indians vs space invaders😬

With our Tech 1 technology we we pose threat yet. Nukes are cave man weapons to tech 2 races. Won't see it in our life time. Wayoints,triggers etc. Does take time. But fun and entertaining to do none the less since MOW days. Random battle's I did for fun. Limitations of the engine is challenging at some times tho haha.

Same Boom why i created these battles on my idea how they would handle it. Recon then a fast aggressive attack. Not piss fart around like they do in most the movies. If you can say this a probe attack for hill scene coming up😉 Still I won't make it yet till WOTW mod moves to GOH. True that👍 Railguns, laser tech, sonic missiles, frequency wave weapons. But the drones need satellites to operate so if the aliens are smart just wipe them out before launching their attack. That we have no defence for yet.. Or a bunch tom curise clones with hand grenades🤣

Cheers mate👍 Yeah few ppl have this problem. 1. CTA verison 1.228.0 is only one that works. So if your in the beta version version need to op out or update. 2.Make sure to load AVS platform mod first. Click apply then wait. Then load WOTW mod click apply and wait. 3.Make sure you haven't got any other mods loaded. Most other mods will give you error. Some work. Load up editor should work. 4. Sometimes I get a error loading up saying some assets didn't load. If your lucky it's once if not so lucky takes like 10 times to load in. Just Ok to error and retry. 5. Most maps work but some don't. To found out if a map works. Load it up in F3 and click save as. If you get an error saving that map doesn't work and retry a another map Hope this helps and good luck👍

I changed it so it wouldn't get destroyed😉 In the game (CTA) (WOTW mod) they can go down quiet quickly with the right weapons. Tho I changed it for the 2005 movie cause this was set 1/2 day of the invasion. Military forces didn't know how much force to throw at the tripods. In the movie, martians go down by the natural forces of nature. Bacteria that our body's have immunity to. No human intervention caused them to die off. In this movie story. "After all man's weapons and devices failed". None of our tech1 technology weapons could of taken the tripods down, including nukes. Maybe push it over or blow them sky high😅 Emp did not effect them. So the shields were invincible. But.. These aliens from mars buried the tripods in the ground for centurys but not knowing what gems we have.. Someone high up in the alien world would of got fired for that🤣

Kinda disagree with that. Those energy shields block anything that is fast moving. Any object that's fast moving. 99% of humans weapons are based off that principle. Bomb travling at high speed. Shield would still stop it. All projectile weapons would fail. Need to be a energy based weapon to actually do something. Tho I couldn't imagine the shields are unlimited power. Sure enough and alot of fire-power would take down one. But multiple ones we wouldn't have a fighting chance. Including they wipe out all our power and communications for the military including satellites etc. No organised attacks. Only reason why military vehicles still operating cause most are emp proof. After all the nuke testing back in the 50's/60's. Most of 60% U.S forces are not homeland. So wouldn't be much homeland forces left to defend.
