I ran into badger a few years ago in LA i was homeless at the time and told him i watch his videos. He gave me $100 cash i was able to get a room and get off those menacing streets for the night. He showed nothing but love!

LA county main jail has the darkest , most evil vibe ever of all the jails and prisons I’ve been in through the 70s and 80s. I’m 72 discharged my C number in 85 . Latched onto the program , took it seriously, and stayed clean for 23 years. Went back out there and blew that time for a couple years but remained functional with no criminal involvement before being welcomed back to NA with open arms. There’s a lot of caring people in the program ( also some idiots ,but ‘ey that’s life) and they had my back sincerely. Clean now over 10 yrs. Lotta people love you Badger. Embrace that. God ain’t done with you yet. You know what to do brother. ❤️😎

Man it’s such a humbling reminder that if you stop working a program everything can go back down the toilet as we watch our homie in the homeless shelter. But at least he has the wherewithal to try and rebuild when many would look at the mountain and think it’s just too difficult to climb and give up. Keep up with the rebound. It’ll be hard - gets harder each time. But you’re carrying a message of depth and weight thru your actions for someone who may need to see it.

On the same note people are out here working a program and still have a return to use. It’s not as cut and dry as the programs make it out to be. Substance use in general is so much more complex and deeper than having some defective character and numbing with a substance.

You're starting to grow some boobs there dude but then again I shouldn't be the one to talk I've always been a good shape until I had a heart attack and a coma a couple years ago because I was drinking so heavy after losing my job in the pandemic. I have a huge stomach and boobs and it makes me sick to look at myself. I'm going to start working out again for damn sure. Aside from all that I'm glad you're still alive and just take everything day by day but you will definitely be better everyday I know you got this OG.

I was 175 lean and muscular and business was doing good. In 2019, broke up with my cheating GF/live in partner of 12 years. then the pandemic happened. I am in the food business so I was closed during that but had to pay rent using my savings to keep it. I was moderate drinker then, but the whole event made me full blown alki. I lost almost 40 lbs, hair got thin due to stress and got acne becasue of hormones all jacked up also from not eating/sleeping ect. I went through hell and deaths door for quitting drinking, hallucinations and seizures the whole ordeal lol. Im 160 now doing much better and business is doing well again. I see the world in a different light. Stay strong brothers, make each day count.
