The Legacy Hornet can only carry 8 AAM's. It was the Super Hornet that carried more but thats way to early for it to come now

​@@dragongod8481youd be surprised to learn that even legacy hornets can carry 12 missiles, 2 x 1 AIM-9 on wingtips 4x 2 AMRAAMs on the wing 2 x 1 AMRAAMs on the fuselage. Might not be the A variant but still the point stands.

current ingame basic Su-27 variant (from 1987) cannot use the R-77. The R-77 was only available for russian Flankers with the Su-27SM variant (from 2002). Although, is worth to mention (as a curiosity only because it doesn't obviously apply to WT) russian air force never adopted the R-77 (from 1994). Although they had these Su-27SM (and a handful of MiG-29S) that could theoretically fire these missiles, russian air force never ordered/adopted R-77s (only exporting them to China and India). Russia would only trully adopt a FOX-3 missile with the R-77-1 (2009~2010) for use on its (at the time brand new) Su-27SM3, Su-30SM and Su-35S

@@byson8628 Assuming they don’t add the 120C, the 120A/B vs the 27ER should be doable.

@@byson8628 I trully don't know. The R-27ER is actually capable of dealing with early variants of the AIM-120, since it's faster and have more range, but against later and current FOX-3s I doubt... Russian Air Force might know something about their R-27s that we don't know, because they use them up until today. It's not rare to see modernized Su-27s armed exclusively with R-27s (instead of R-77s and R-77-1s, which they supposedly have the capability of). One theory is that Russia had possibly put in service the R-27EA (an active radar homing variant of the R-27ER. It was tested and declared operational in the 90s but officially it was never in service. It's visually identical to the R-27ER). But, well... in the end of the day it's Russia, they might just be hanging around with obsolete missiles after all About the F-4C and F3H I sadly don't know.
