The itPsV 90 in War Thunder is a Chieftain Marksman with a Leopard 2 hull giving it 1500HP!!!
If you've ever thought your SPAA was too slow, well... now there's a Swedish SPAA that definitely might tickle your fancy! It's insanely fast considering it's only 8.3 making you the most mobile tank without wheels at this BR and because of your 2 x 30mm cannons you can get right up the flanks of enemies and absolutely destroy them!
The itPsV90 is absolutely crazy. It's basically a top tier R3 T20. Bonkers.

Its because he has like 20k hours of experience in the game, so he basically knows every single timing and spot in every map dynamic. Which also makes his advice not very good...then again a sizeable chunk of players seem to be completely missing their W key barely getting out of spawn

@@maplearrow1842 Falcon can be fun for being a lower br and smaller, therefore easier to hide, but amx30 dca is a lot more survivable and mobile, it can bounce apfsds in weird ways and it is resistant to 50cal (can be penned in small spots, but generally fine).

@@Mr-zo7bt They have the same top speed but the dca can also drive at full speed backwards. The falcon doesn’t have ammo belts linked to the guns in the damage model so it’s actually way harder to kill especially if it only shows its turret

@@maplearrow1842 DCA has much higher hp/t which leads to better acceleration and better handling in general. DCA's main advantage is the turret armor causing people trouble, it looks intimidating and people don't know where to shoot, apfsds often either bouncing or over-penning, while being immune to 12.7 in most of the turret bar right under the gun. Compared to the Falcon, where the Falcon can be killed by just spraying 12.7 at the turret.

Fun fact, The ItPsv 90 in game is wrong/ falsely named, that thing is actually just Leopard 2 Marksman, the original ItPsv 90 is the marksman turret on a T-55 chassis

partly true, originally it was on polish T-55 chassis but in 2015 they adapted same marksman turrets on leopard 2A4 chassis

The original on T-55 chassis is ItPsv 90/Ilmatorjuntapanssarivaunu 90 Marksman. If it's on leo chassis it's Leopard 2 Marksman

ItPsV 90 = "Ilmatorjuntapanssarivaunu 90" which is roughly translated "Airdefense armored vehicle 90" or "AA-tank 90"

You didn't even mention that it has a Laster Range Finder, so even on large maps it can be very effective. If anything, they should have added the earlier version of it, since it was on a T-55AM chassis instead of a Leopard 2. It would probably have made it a lot more balanced.

In that second game you really shattered their morale. Two of your enemies never spawned a second vehicle after you crushed their hopes and dreams some seconds after the start of the match. Some of their team mates also appeard to not have spawned in a second time.

Itpsv 90 should be on t55 chassis in war thunder as they originally were until the turrets were changed on leo2a4's. Would make much more sense with 8.3br and its a fun mix of soviet and western equipment thats pretty rare to see.

They need to fix the damage modeling in this game entirely. One round my tank can kill other tanks but in the next round my tank does 0 damage to the exact types of tanks I was playing against in the previous rounds. The whole thing feels like a dice roll to me and the winners are pre determined before the match even starts.

I'll never understand why the 🐌 decided to add this rather than the ACTUAL itPsV 90, a marksman turret on a T-55 chassis. It would've been perfectly fitting unlike this unbalancable thing smh. Also the AP rounds on the 35mm autocannons are actually SAP rounds with 37g of filler, hence you can kill people with goofy optic/cupola shots 😩

Real ItpsV 90 has/had APDS-(T) or HEI-(T). And It can't shoot those APDS rounds in full auto like it can with HEI rounds.

With so many new players, you ever think about making a "How to" guide? For example, I'd bet very few people knew you could guide NORD missiles, let alone how to do it. I've been playing for 10 years, and things like guided bombs still frustrate me. Took me a long time to figure them out. Helping newer players not have to deal with the frustrations we've dealt with for the past decade could help them enjoy the game more and stay.

Best part is when you bring it in on a 10.0ish lineup and it still shreds. I've killed numerous T72 TURMS and Leopard 2s with it before.

I would really like to see you play the Pz.Sfl.Ic. It is a 2.3 premium TD and has one of the best guns for its BR while being very quick. It isn't super common and I think it's really underrated!

Penetrations have been so weird recently, like the armor protection analysis on the Ho-Ri production, tiger 2 Hs can pen it, even though it is 624mm thick at certain spots. The m47 can be penned by the Sheman jumbo at 200mm, funny part is the jumbos gun doesn’t even have 150mm of pen…

Gaijin and their stealth patches...they recently did one in enlisted, you direct inpact (literally get a hitmarker for thr bomb) a 1941 T-34 with 500kg stuka bomb and that T-34 drives out of the gigantic crater with barely singed tracks...

The south African ZA-35 is the same vibe, except more speed and less armor. you do not get the APDS as an option in that but it still is a really good flanker

I have no idea how you can manage to guide your nords in manually while flying and avoiding AA. I have never been able to do it so I just aim where I want them to hit and let them fly on their own, works pretty good for me.

Before watching this video I played a couple matches. First game, 7.3, we spawned in and within 30 seconds of the match starting this thing was in our spawn and killed 8 people.

T32s, M26s, And anything on that hull can die to a flakpanzer 341 from the back. The engine deck is very weak and shells tend to travel across no issue

I find it ironic that tanks like this are only 70-100 SP, but stuff like the AB 205 is 280-310 SP. 3-4 times more expensive while being 20% as effective.

Anti-Air vehicles should never be allowed to leave spawn, and Gaijin needs to fix that issue immediately. German AA roll teams even in lower BR's.

Advice ; GET IN THERE - drives straight into enemy lines. Yeah, nobody dares doing that. 95 % prefer the hide among the sheeps tactic, and avoid all caps.

I think it has something to do with their geography that regular tanks just weren't as at-home. And they probably make them mostly as proof of concept designs considering there's only been a couple hundred STRV 103 and such made. Or they get Hella bored being a neutral country that stays out of wars if they can.

Faced that thing with the T-55AM-1 and I got one shotted from the side, killcam showed one single 35mm shell enter through my side and it looked like it had explosive filler cause it exploded inside my tank and killed my entire crew
