The XP-50 that went head on with the IL-2 then complained that it was overpowered. Let me rephrase that. A player with an extremely fast plane with reasonable armament went head on with a Russian ground attacker that's encased in armor, then complained that he didn't know how to fight a heavy, slow, and low plane in his energy fighter.

It's really cool how this guy, Melkandor, was able to game with Bo and Loli. I've always dreamed of a chance encounter with a big-time WT gamer, meanwhile this guy's living the dream! Oh yeah, and the Il-2m3. The reg Il-2 is amazing and all, but the addition of the rear gunner really makes a difference. The Il-2m3 takes all of the Il-2's combat capabilities, whether they be bombing payloads or dogfighting ability, and adds onto all that with absolutely no takeaway. Rear gunner for those moments when the enemy is somehow better than you at dogfighting, y'know?

Except replace the Red Wagon with a Stalinium Wheelbarrow with wings and an engine totally-not stolen from a German farmer's tractor. Oh, and replace the music with Vodka bottles filled with 100% concentrate USSR National Anthem. Also, when IL-2s are decommissioned, they get cut in half by all the bears in "Stalin's Communism Emporium (Now with Bear petting zoo!)" to be used as armor plating on KV-2s.

It's too bad people don't work more on roleplay in this game and go back home after they drop their bombs. That said, it is also sad that this game doesn't allow more time for bombers to assemble fighter escorts and go on multiple missions. Too bad IL-2 is a game you have to buy and so focused on the flight simulator aspect.
