Hey guys! There is an update to these controls for those who love cas! Go check it out on my channel if that sounds like something you are interested in. Also if you wana go straight to the sim controls in this video, head over to the time stamp 6:00 :) I hope you find these controls to be just as responsive and useful as my previous! Again if you have any ideas for improvements, please let me know, I’ll be happy to add whatever works and credit you for the idea. I’m so happy that I’ve managed to help a few of you out with these controls since I have been playing war thunder on console for years with these struggles and simulator was for so long a daunting and impossible game mode to be in. However after a good while I’m happy with these controls and I hope you find them easy to use and don’t bring round too much of a learning curve from if you’re coming from my previous RB controls. Thanks to all who watch these vids and comment, it’s really great to chat with you! Hope you manage to score some kills in SB soon :D

Hey guys quick update on the controls! Have your nonlinearity set to 1 in your pitch axis key binds. That’ll give you more precise control of your aircraft! I have no clue why it was set to 3 in this vid. Also I have update controls on the channel! Very helpful I was looking for a way to play sim again because my joystick broke and I found this. I feels so good to play with controller. I am glad I came across this

I used your video as a base to set up my xbox elite controller for sim and its pretty damn good. Got 2 back paddles set up as modifier keys.

Thanks for the tutorial, but a tip for the future adjust your post- processing FX the sharpness in contrast to the gamma washes it out and makes the UI hard for the viewer to see, but again great tutorial

@strangledegg i my plane keeps going down,/pull my plane down and i don't know why. im flying the a10 maybe because it big and Heavy and help to what i should fix?

@@Forbiddenonii so sorry you’ve been having these issues! When it comes to sim most planes can have varied flight characteristics so it can be hard to tell what’s the plane or the controls messing up :/ I’ll test fly the a10 to see if it’s pulling down for me and if not I’ll try and find a fix for you :)

Is it alright if I use these settings for ww2 era planes? Still I like the settings. Not so much combinations and I just need to get the hang of it. Thanks so much.

For the wing sweep how do you get it to stay without holding it

Hey man! So for keeping the value you set it to you are gonna first have to go to the wing sweep keybind in controls, click on it and you’ll then find the fifth option down would be an enable switch labelled ‘keep value for disabled axis’ if you enable that then your input should stay :)

I can't get any help from Google or anything, but when I go to take off in any plane (br 3.0) my plane just pulls to the right of the runway and will do circles. How do I fix this?

This is the propeller torque. in real life we control this on takeoff using the pedals. The game is no different.

Hmm what plane are you using? Sometimes sim models on planes can be iffy especially with props :(

I’m not too sure man but it’s definitely to do with your pitch up and down keybinds for sure! Try experimenting with it or rewatch the video. So sorry if that isn’t much help I’m just not sure what else I can offer besides that :(

Hey dude! That’ll be the touch pad on your dualshock if you are on PlayStation :) Only just came to me now though that Xbox doesn’t have one :/

Hey dude you should be pulling up and down with your left joystick in the pitch keybinds. Hope that helps :)

Some props have different characteristics to master with sim controls so it will be tricky! As for these controls though I’d say take a look at my most recent if you want up to date and easier to handle controls 😊

Honestly it sucked for so long 😭 the process of making them is difficult but with my most recent video I’m finally happy with them :) I promise they’re worth it!

@@strangledegg only reason I’m even looking at it is because I’m tired of dying to more planes than tanks in ground RB I don’t even want to use planes but it seems I won’t have a choice

😅 sorry to hear that dude! Check out my latest video for new gateway keys and try experimenting around the controls. So sorry this doesn’t work well for Xbox but I’ll be sure to get one in the future and make controls for it :)
