Trim your aircraft maybe? You can trim it in test flight and then use the trim fixation keybind and itll save that when you go in sim battles

I figured it out, you have to disable the "Trim Aircraft" setting and go into the aeliron, rudder, and elevator trim axis settings, bind them to a button (you can turn it off once you set your trim), turn on relative control and set the relative control step to 1% so that the trim only increases by 1% as you trim the different inputs. Also turn down the relative control sensitivty to 10-30%. Then you can slowly trim it in test flight, and press the trim fixation keybind when you have gotten it to trim straight and level, and then it will be saved for when you go into sim battles and you can just go.

You may have to adjust the trim in flight a bit though because of fuel

I tried removing the the bind for enable axis button and it works much better.

There you go man! I was going to say it sounds like you had R3 binded as the enable button which shouldnt be on the view controls :/ well done for figuring that out though! Had to do that so many times with other binds and its difficult when yoy dont understand it at first 😭

I recommend making your air rb settings, saving them, and then making an air simulator controls save. That way you can just switch back and forth when needed

That's pretty much the only way you can do it ^ dunno why you wouldn't save your controls anyway

Hey man! Glad to hear you’ve just started :) the start is usually the most confusing with how many inputs are involved in aviation so don’t worry! If you haven’t already I’d recommend looking at my most lates air controls video, even though it’s more to learn, when you get used to them you will have full and comfortable control of your aircraft, alls i recommend for learning the controls and whatever plane you have is to create a custom game with bots to allow yourself to get used to them :) hope this helps!

hey man :) my curent up to date sim controls video is universal to all planes and brs! So if you havent already please check it out and see if it works well for you 😁 just remember that prop characteristics can be a struggle so if thats the case try turning on “mouse joystick“ for control mode at the top of the controls settings hope this helps!

? In the first part of the video when he goes into the section where you alter your control mode, you can see that it has "mouse aim" selected. As a console player with no mouse, I don't have this option. I have a controller.

Hey dude these controls are made on console souly for console, mouse aim refers to your standard air rb controls where you use a circular cursor to control the aircrafts nose :)

Found the fix, you go to Common > Tracker Controls > Disable "Control zoom with head tracking", this fixed it for me

Hey dude I’m happy you’ve found the video helpful! To sort out the throttle issue try going to ‘throttle axis” in aircraft settings and switching on the ‘keep value for disabled axis’ toggle option 👍 hope that helps!

@@strangledegg thanks for the reply. So it's the collective pitch that keeps reverting to 47% if I let go of the D-pad. I tried what you recommended but didn't seem to work. I know youre not tech support so I'll keep trying different things. Cheers :)

If it’s in pitch settings then there should be the same toggle option of “keep value for disabled axis” in “collective pitch” and “hover height” settings too :) try turning both on in those settings and if that doesn’t work still try seeing if you have relative control on, then toggle the “keep value” button 😁 if that still doesnt work try reseting the options in pitch by clicking L3 and then redoing them all together as shown in the vid cause ya never know haha hope that helps!

hmm i think try binding your prefered joystick to the ’gunner aiming controls’ in the gunners section of aircraft tjat might be whats wrong :) if not though then let me know and ill try find other fixes for you 👌

Hey Dude I’m very sorry but “swipe right” is referring to the touchpad on a PlayStation controller :( if you have something similar to that on Xbox or buttons that are only native to Xbox controllers then try something with them! Always worth experimenting with gateway keybinds 😁
