To be fair. They are kind of waiting for the internet infrastructure and pc hardware to be there to do what they intended for the game. They are focusing on the graphics first, gameplay second, with no intention of under deliver... which is bad dev. direction but remarkable for their dedication to not intentionally underdeliver.

@@alinalexandru2466 damaged, but not broken, even a broken barrel is still usable, it's the gun breach that doesn't work when broken and was fine in the video, although even if the barrel was banana peeled, at point blank, splash damage and overpressure is enough to rip the crew apart in that M19.

@@jamesneumann2003 no its not. If reddish, it just blows up. Your shell gets deletetd and does nothing, other then blow up ur barrel to black... It's not usable in this state... You should probably do some more research on WT mechanics...

Gaijin buffed HE while the opposite happened with Wargaming, they nerfed HE to what it used to be in Warthunder, completely and utterly useless unless you got lucky by hitting an aircraft. which is extra funny if you use the KV 2's 152mm gun.

HESH is still pretty useless. Even the hesh barn struggles at times

That is historically accurate. I recall reading an account of a Panther taking a 152mm shell to the upper front glacis (from an SU-152 not a KV-2, but the shell is the same) and it made a hole a couple feet across.

@@02961 Honestly no, some of tohe new tanks seem balanced against gold ammo - I've had instances where the map design forces me into a head to head confrontation and I need to weakspot snipe with gold ammo. Thus, the utility of HE in high tier games - doing scratch damage or praying for a good crit roll when even gold tells you "you won't pen."

@@pawelt4638 each nation plays diffrent and the most popular mode is air realistic battles and ground realistic but newer players tend start on Arcade battles which feels more Arcade like faster battle and have markers like wot. Other then that game uses respawns and battle rating system which what you build a line up around which is multiple diffrent veichles but have same or close same b.r highest ont usually what match maker sees and you seen up too -1.0 to +1.0 matches so if your a 3.7 line up worst case is 4.7 which 3 battle ratings higher or 2.7 which 3 below you.

@@pawelt4638 here break down of the nations tanks from my experience USA: Jack all trades master of none decent depression sngles very few bad veichles Germany: turns WT into a point click game most popular nation high pen guns and decent mediums/ mats and the meta nation USSR: Lower pen then Germans but their rounds have more he filler then any one so has huge post pen damage so easy 1 shot kill tanks with. Early sloped armor . Only con is no neutral steer at high tiers UK: Not recommended for new players no he filler so multiple shots or knowing where ammo racks are helps. HESH rounds at rank 4 also Centurion AVRE premium is fun 165mm derp France: No armor high speed at middle tier EBR's are in this game too and are just as bad. Uses a lot sd olid shot like UK but auto loaders and speed. Italy: least played nation in game mostly good early tiers turns into fast wheels at high tier. R3 T20 FA SH is a fun lil car with 990rounds/min that can pen side of tanks JAPAN: I dont know personally what their thing is. I dont play them. China: is hybrid USSR and US till rank 6 then own domestic tanks come and are hybrids us an Russia playstyle feel Sweden : I dont know much on them but they have highest penetration at rank 1 with very very early APDS rounds.
